Is anyone else looking forward to the new release of the Tundra at the Chicago auto sh0w? I've had mine for more than ten years now, and it has been a pretty good rig, but I'm hoping the new ones are a significant enough improvement to justify the investment in the new vehicle. Here are some of the things I am hoping for:
1. Direct injection, gas costs 3.25 a gallon, ouch;
2. Stiffer frame, the current generation of Tundras have had frame issues since inception, this needs to be remedied;
3. Bigger fuel tank. 35 gallons seems about right;
4. Less body, more tire, duh;
5. How about a Double Cab available with the stubby bed? Before you guys ask, why have a short bed with the shorter Double Cab? I say, look at all the tacos with the short bed and four doors, it seems like a winning combination. I want a four door half ton that will pull a camper and still fit in the frackin' garage. Is that too much too ask? As we get older, the tow behind camper is the best way to have females actually want to come along;
6. Make it less ugly. Geez, I thought the Titans were bad.
