I used a 3/16 x 1/2 neoprene seal for the doors it attaches to lip around inside of the door opening (main body) the seal is a marine one i got from local marine shop.

after driving down real dusty roads and in rain i had no dust or water in trailer anywhere.

Excellent. Thanks. I'm thinking of changing my seals from a D shaped bulb to a neoprene seal. The bulb is a bit big for the gap I left (8mm) and makes it a bit tough to close the doors. One of my side doors leaks too so I think a swap is in order. I've always had good luck with the neoprene tape even though everyone else says it's low tech compared to a bulb seal.

The way i look at it is use the one that works, i have used flat neoprene seal on lots of applications and always had good success.

I think I need a bigger truck!
I used a "P" shaped neoprene gasket for my trailer lid. The local marine supply shop had some in about 4 sizes... great stuff. Lid is pretty much airtight!

WOW!....That's really all I have to say.
Thanks.

Finished my kitchen/galley conversion, it all worked well in the end.

New table setup off swing out.

Closed and in bag for travel.

Now my stove can go on swing out table i added sink and tap to old main slide out. Both sink and tap are removable for travel, tap comes up thru table and fixes into a grommet i made to hold it.Sink is replaceable by drop in piece shown sitting on counter. Mounted my water heater to swing out frame.

Completed kitchen setup.

Cheers

It looked great up close Mike, fantastic work for sure. I really like the way the swing out and the existing re-worked counter are the same height and the sink is well, just a bonus. This setup is great man, cant wait to get out for another trip soon!

Do you keep the water heater outside permanently, or just hang it up as needed? I'm going to go with a portable setup for now (Zodi) but I think I want to go with a more permanent solution down the road once I have my water plumbed in on the trailer (not to mention my battery/electrical).

Just opened this thread again after quite a while. An hour or 3 later.......

Once again, very nice work. Only question is do you have an awning/cover for the kitchen area incase of rain?

Ah, make that 2 questions. :D What brand is your water heater? We don't get them down here in Aus but thinking of ordering one in.
