What are your opinion on "Off Brand" High Lifts

For what its worth, my Reese FarmJack is fantastic. Ive used it recently around the farm jacking up old equipment that sits outside and placing blocks underneath to keep them out of the ground. Ive lifted my Jeep with it several times, and never had a problem.

I got a bunch of accessories for hi lifts and use them with it. I have the base piece, jackmate tool, and the bumper flat-hook piece for stock bumpers.

Been a good jack so far, and mine sits outside on my roofrack.

2. If you are using a hi-lift to change a tire you are doing it wrong, that's what bottle jacks are for. A hi-lift has to lift the entire vehicle and unload the suspension to get the wheel in the air - and with a flexy truck that is a lot of lift. Raise the axle not the truck!

Run a heavy duty tie down strap(s) or chain around your axle and to the frame before you jack up the vehicle. Problem solved.

Certainly. Easier to just use the recommended bottle jack though. :)

A bottle jack won't double as a winch / log splitter / frame straightener / bear avoidance tool ( weapon ) post puller / etc. Different tool for a different job.
I just love laying in the mud trying to crawl under a sunk rig to get my bottle jack just right to lift an axle over an obstacle.
Buy a real high lift. Not a knock off. Mine is older than me and still works as new. Maintenance is everything.......

No argument there. The Hi Lift has many uses (and I have one on each of my trucks) but I use a bottle jack to change a tire.

Bottle jacks need a bit of maintenance (i.e. oil), and Hi-Lifts always work better with a can of WD-40 to get them moving!
