Thanks for the tip, I'll have to find that. I don't really want to drain, drop, and reinstall the tank.There is a auxiliary diesel pickup tube right on your fuel pump assembly...I saw pics of it the other day... somewhere online. You can simply tap into that. R
Not seeing the aux tube on the fuel pump. At least not on my 2002 e-350. Maybe it was for a later diesel.
I think I know what your referring to now. Doesn't getting to that require dropping the tank? I thought I read that, but would be more than happy for that to be wrong.The pics I’ve seen of the aux pickup have it in the center of the round fuel sender ‘plate’. I’ll see if I can spot a pic.

That’s what I’ve done with other vehicles. If in doubt, carry a Jerry Can of fuel and drive it till you’re running on fumes.Yes I don't think it'll be too bad, just time consuming. I'd want to pump out the diesel to drop it. I suppose I could just run it pretty low and then try it.
