Catalina uses them for island tours. No sneaking up in the game for sure. i think the guide aired the tires up as it beat us to death.
There used to be Baja Hummer tours for rich folks. I can only imagine how cool that would be. The trails down there were carved by full size domestic trucks so they are wide.

Thanks...it took a while to grow on me but I like it now. Always wanted to paint it a darker color or even matte tan but never wanted to go through the pain in the butt. I figured I can’t be too choosy since they made so few.

I need to get it back out in the dirt where it’s happy...embarrassed to post a pic on the street ;-)

haha! They can definitely ride like a buckboard with the stock springs. Sections of washboard often make me think my whole truck is coming apart. I used to be on airbags...that’s one thing I miss about them

Long distance shot.

Some sections of the trail was very difficult and dangerous to pass, rock slide made it very challenging.
Hummers big fat ass wide body Is helpful sometimes when trying to traverse side slopes.

Holy crap! Didn’t know it was you. How ya been?! I am back in CA and have been too busy to spend very much time off road. Need to get the hell outta town and chill. Love your deep water crossing!!

looks like our trucks have similar tent set ups...what tray/bedrack did ya go with? I went with Fromtrunner and had to make my own supports to raise it a bit above the drawers

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! did you trim the rear quarters or just build around them? Always wanted to build a Expedition.... Had a 97 F150 that was the best truck I ever had...….although my 03 suburban is in a close second.

Up in Kennedy Meadows a month or so ago. 2001 F350 7.3. Just got my Hanson Heavy Duty front bumper on the truck, happy with how it turned out.

That Callen's really close to the cab. It may have been built for another model. They build them with a couple inches of clearance for torsional twisting. I've had three of them. Good looking setup. I love the aerodynamic years of the Superduty.

Thanks, I appreciate it. It was definitely built for a different truck, we pulled it off of a OBS Ford. I'd like to build a custom aluminum flatbed/service body for it some day, we'll see what happens down the line.
