HaHa, it's funny in the two years I've lived in Yuma I've never ran that entire road. Only a portion working on the fence.

Wish I've would've known you guys were coming thought. Could've taken you guys up though Picaho (I can never spell it right).

Speaking of border patrol, one park service ranger just referred to illegal immigrants as "international travelers." I thought it was pretty funny.

Dave, I know you've tried a few times to make that trip. I must say on my end, it was worth the wait. I think that was your best write-up yet, and that's out of a big collection of some really good trip reports. Very nicely done.

Loved the photos too. I see you're trying new stuff with the camera and that is always fun to see. I still think your dog is funny looking, but hey, she's run ECDD and I haven't. So go Dixie.

Yes...that trip was LONG overdue, and A LOT of fun! Meeting the FJ group was a blast! R2FJ, weezerbot, and 1leglance...an absolute pleasure meeting all of you (sorry for not getting the other screennames...but I know there was Tim, PJ, and the cool guy with the FJ that looked like it's been to hell & back! :hehe: Steve it was really good to meet you too! Sorry Cracker Barrell was so overwhelming!

So jealous, just don't have anything like that on this side of the country, thats why I want to go west.

If everyone will chip in a little for gas I'll come for a vist, I can stay cheap along the way. I'll bring my own beer and food so you won't have to worry about me spending your money on anything other than gas. I'm a good camp fire cook, hell I 'll even do all the cooking.

Maybe I'll set up a website so everyone can donate, like that woman that had all the kids.

Anyway nice pictures looking forward to getting that way some day.

Seriously though, the hounds and I had a great time (despite the cholla in the mouth for Zeus)! It was great meeting and hanging out with all of you. Hopefully we can do it again soon.
