New ARB Tacoma bumper?

Hmmm.... torn. I wanted fog light provisions originally when I bought my ARB bumper but now I think I kind of like it better without.

Pic taken this weekend. Nice background eh?

When i bought my bullbar for my 01' Taco i had the chance to pick it up from ARB....I talked with one of the ARB techs (Tim - now with Wild West Fab now) about this same mod to the old style bumpers like mine....I guess people have done it....The Tech went and got the parts (black plastic cover and turn signal w/out log lamp $100 for both if i remember right...)...The only bad thing about the mod is that i would have to relocate the ARB tag....

I will be back up in Seattle during Christmas time....I will mostly great the parts do the mod due to the cool factor!!!

Looks like an easy retrofit for those with the original. But, I wouldn't waste my money for a plastic piece that holds lights, much less on a whole "new" bumper.

I'll keep my original :)

I can take more if you have any requests.
I'd love to see one looking directly at the front of the truck like the ARB picture I posted in the first post of this thread. Don't worry about getting the camera out just for that, but if you're taking some for daverami I'd appreciate it. :sombrero:

What are you going to use to cut out the holes?

A plasma cutter could be used and could theoretically be done fast enough to not harm too much of the OE paint. The light insert has an ~1/4" overlap so your hole doesn't have to be perfect and some touch up paint could protect the metal too.

I've got plenty more here if you need specific views.

Thank you for the pictures. On the third picture down, with the bracket, is that already welded to the bumper, or is it a separate piece?

First off I should clarify. This is not the new Tacoma bumper in the pic, that is a 100 Series bumper, but the hole profile and fog light insert kit are 100% the same parts, installation, etc.

To answer the question, that bracket comes from ARB on this application.
