It's coming together...

in picture #2, you can see where the Trangia stove will go. That cushion also fits very nicely in the rear of the van to give another person room to sit.

lost, but making time
Okay, I won't ;)

I read about "Xtrem" from Reimo, but it doesn't appear to be widely available, so I will keep looking as well...

Don't ask...

Not yet. I couldn't find anything I liked... For next winter I have to come up with something...

Just one night out... Huge windstorm made us leave the campground in the forest. We got peppered by branches and didn't want to risk damage on the van and gear...

The cushions are money very well spent! Very compfy on the bench and also to sleep on.

Attached a picture of the curtain line.

One more observation I made:

I first thought that not having windows in the back would be kind of a bummer. Well, it turns out that I didn't miss having windows at all! One of the biggest bonuses of not having them is: It's dark at night inside! Our campground neighbor had a very bright light set up that illuminated a good part of the campground... But inside the van, it was nice and dark! No curtain or blind could have done better.

Therefore, I can totally recommend a set up like ours!

Cheers,
Andreas

No curtains or blinds, but a good pellet gun...
