Our "new" Tiger...

As careful and thorough as you are with your modifications on the Tiger, I'm sure you have thought through selling the Tiger, I hope you don't regret it, unless you are replacing it with another Tiger:victory: Good luck with the sale. Whoever buys it will get a great deal on an awesome RV.

Now maybe I will have a chance to catch up on copying your mods, I think I am on about #3 of the 100 or so you have done:Wow1:

Thanks for taking us along for the ride, keep us posted.

Stairway to Tiger...

Meanwhile, back in the garage...
One of the great mysteries of Tiger ownership has been how to clean the bugs off the front of the camper? We've tried pressure washers, long-handled brushes, various ladders, and laying/hanging off the roof. Nothing has worked to our satisfaction. Last week I was trying to come up with some sort of scaffold to go over the hood when a friend offered the use of this cool contraption:

Oh man can I borrow that thing?

I always hate it when this thread drops off the first page, but I wasn't expecting this! However I think J&H would take care great care of it, and besides they could just adopt your thread too :) Keep taking it cool places, pics, etc. Hope you guys can work it out.

Well hmmm, interesting - can't wait to see what's next!

WOW, I would be counting out the money if it had seating for the kids. I would say that it is more than a great buy, better than a new unit. Saw an ad for a junker the other day and they wanted $22,000.

Come on down. We'll have your Tiger looking like new in no time.

I was so proud of the accomplishment I had to take a picture before we went out and collected more bugs this weekend:

It was the first time we've ever seen it 100% bug-free (only Tiger owners will understand the significance of this milestone). ;)

If there were still a construction industry in this region, that beautiful Tiger would be in my possession with a 4 " lift kit and a small block chevy motor both on order.

Looking forward to your next build.:ylsmoke:

Bittersweet...

A nice couple known to many on the Portal came and picked up the Tiger today.

Thanks to everyone who followed along with this thread and offered helpful advice and ideas. I was a bit surprised by the number of responses I got from interested parties both offline and in person when I hinted that we might sell the Tiger. Apparently, after >50,000 views, this thread has helped create a lot of fans of these great little campers.

We wish the new owners many happy adventures!

Congrats on the sale both to you and the buyers. I think they got one of the best deals around. Now you need to change your signature till your next unit.
