Thanks that is great info. I will be building the camper as well so size won’t be a problem. If the CC is beefier I should probably just go that route.
Hey everyone so I am building a new truck I’m buying a 2008 to 2010 F450 with a blown engine. I have narrowed it down to two options. One is a work truck fairly clean that’s a cab n chassis. The other is an F450 pick up and it’s a lariat. I was a little confused on which frame would be better...
I have cooper discoverer S/T Maxx's they are a 17 235/80R17 but its a 32in with 9.25 width on my gx and I love them Not sure if they make a 15 but unreal tires
I bought your axel less suspension and havn't bolted it up yet but wanted to let you know the packaging was horrible is showed up scratched and all the hardware was just thrown in the box loose. Looks like a great product but Etrailer didnt take care of it and i will just repaint it I guess.
I dont think I am going to need a off road hitch so what is ya'lls recommendation for a good ball style hitch? I dont think I will do the kind of wheeling to make a off road hitch useful for my. I have got the trailer welded and some walls started so my project is moving along.
amazing stuff I used to glue boat decks on with it. Stays flexible which can be a huge benifit. people set through holes with it so its pretty amazing.
No just ones people destroyed the deck or backed into a loader lol. I usually worked on the excavators as they took the worst beating. I meant the back end of the trailers
Thanks alot for the advice I am leaning towards the notching as it is a nice compromise. Cheers! its usually the lowboys that had that flush tongue I am sure it goes back aways I am usually welding on the back though as thats where its usually broken
This is great stuff my trailer is very similer as yours except my cross members are flush with the top instead of the bottom for a flat floor. I have a question running the tongue under the trailer as you have wont work since I have a 1in gap in the underside bc of the 2x2 cross members. I was...
Sorry for all the questions. I am so close to starting but bc of shipping I have to wait until next sat. I want to build the best trailer I can and have very good fiberglass and welding skills but am a bit lost on how best to proceed. So I am wondering what would be a better way to go.
1: boat...
Yeah maybe I should just go rack. I had a net like that in my van but you have to be able to get it real tight so they dont bounce around and drive you crazy.
