Having come from a dozen years in a highly modified FUSO.
I enjoying the plush capable ride quality of my first f350. The acceleration from 80mph. Going up hill at any speed. The comfortable and quiet huge cab. Seating and sleeping for 4. 50% better mpg. All at a cost of 2.5 feet in length...
That big tank up front would be a hot mess in deep sand. And given the fact that the bike was never designed for that weight distribution would not add to the happiness. Good on the rider.
How good was it? What do they actually sell for? Got some sales data for 2017 models? I see advertised prices for 10-20% more, but people can advertise for what ever price they want.

Back to the OP. If it were me I would start by eliminating variables.
-Drive straight on flat pave.
-then uphill and down hill.
-no brakes, brakes
-speed bumps.
-Then do corners.
-Then repeat all the above off pave.
