hornytoad, it's great to see that your Taco took good care of you and that you were able to literally walk away. Trucks can be replaced, valued ExPo members not so much.
I've posted a link to your post here on the FJ Forum as an object lesson in preparedness in regards to securing gear inside...
Also agreed. If I ever start working on my own rusty metal box I have got to stretch the tongue out some more. Yours is lookin' really nice with your Jeep. Keep up the good work!
I guess we can figure on pretty much any 270deg awning following the same basic design layout with the 45deg angles at both ends.
It's just the nature of the beast unless someone adds extra foldout material to provide square coverage at the front and back.
Here's a dimensional drawing of the...
Woodsman's roof cases...
Having been a big fan of Woodsman's thinking for a while I figured I would throw in his responses about those cases he used from the Blue Room last year...

Bump for a great thread and for one of my FJC brethren's simple Trasharoo mod posted over in the Blue Room...

Wheels. Period. Can you really put a price tag on peace of mind? Do it right and you'll only have to do it once.
Motorcyclists have an old saying for people who always take the cheaper alternative... $10 helmet = $10 head. I don't know about you, but the lump between my shoulders is worth a bit...
We need more pics...
How long are you gonna make us wait to see the LR3 and the Conqueror together? I can't be properly jealous until you do...
I just gotta throw this in for laughs - http://www.gasca.se/
As I understand it the original top-loading version was made for traveling DJs to haul their LPs. The split-case came later.
EDIT: Like anything else this 'hip' I knew they wouldn't be cheap, but my perverse curiosity led me to...
Definitely watch out for the charges on those aftermarket add-ons. A local lot I went to had $41k FJ Cruiser with $2500 'custom leather interior' and $2500 'custom lift kit'. The leather looked nice, but not $2500 nice.
And when I poked my head into the wheelwells and realized the custom lift...
Oh yeah, most everyone here knows about the new diesel Jeep is bringing in - http://www.expeditionportal.com/vehicules/4x4/jeep/1826-jeep-launches-refreshed-2014-grand-cherokee-with-diesel-power.html
I haven't heard of any official 2014 model year announcements for the Taco yet, but at the same time I wouldn't hold my breath for a diesel version.
As for the model being discontinued; I'm sure they've considered lots of options, but some big factors lead me to believe the Tacoma has more than...
^^^ We have two at work, probably the best 'regular' cooler Coleman ever made. After open house or training events these things will sit over in the corner for another week before someone thinks to look inside and we'll find there is still some solid ice floating around the leftover sodas. The...
I've seen some in person side-by-side with Yetis and they look to be every bit as thick-walled as the Yeti/Engel/Etc coolers, but I wasn't as impressed by them overall. The 50qt Yukon I looked at felt obviously heavier (empty) than the 50qt Yeti, I didn't like the latches as much as the Yeti's...
