Land Cruiser 100 to Jeep Rubicon Unlimited: Capability? Comfort?

Turns out you can get 5% under invoice just by asking. 7 of the 20 dealers in LA were immediately willing to do 5% under on custom orders. The dealer I bought this from is in a smaller market, San Jose. So they were only willling to do 4% under. But there wasn't even any negotiating. I asked for...

Land Cruiser 100 to Jeep Rubicon Unlimited: Capability? Comfort?

The work around is her agreeing it's worth it. So I doubt the fun ones like 35s and lifts are in the cards for awhile. But I think It'll need cargo management desperately.

Update. After bouncing between black, red, white, anvil etc. I was finally able to find the color I really wanted with all the options I was looking for thanks to Pat@fieldsAuto on the JeepGarage.com/forum. Turns out there were only three in the whole country. Then one sold. And today I...

    2000 Land Cruiser - Expo Approved* - 182k - $17,500 - Santa Monica, CA

You can't easily lift it any higher. It already has a heavy 2.5" OME lift. You could add a body lift to better fit the 35s.

Superbrightleds. Search on mud. I posted it somewhere but can't find it at the moment. I'll post up some night time pictures. It looks great without the expensive liability of the lexus gauge cluster.

Land Cruiser 100 to Jeep Rubicon Unlimited: Capability? Comfort?

And I'll probably be back when we need room for more klaus's. If Toyota would build a removable top solid axle 4x4 that's smaller than a 100... Plus we all know the G-Wagen is the end all be all of overlanding. Just too expensive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2000 Land Cruiser - Expo Approved* - 182k - $17,500 - Santa Monica, CA

Engine Bay: Action Shots: This is not a mall cruiser or garage queen. It's used for its intended purpose and would make a great expo rig. This truck has done Devils Race Track in San Rafael Swell, Panamint Valley, Death Valley, Poison Spider and Hell's Revenge in Moab, Red Mountain trails...

    2000 Land Cruiser - Expo Approved* - 182k - $17,500 - Santa Monica, CA

The truck is officially for sale. It would make a great family 4x4 or serious expedition platform. It's not just your average "bolt a lot of crap on build." A lot of maintenance and restoration work into the truck in the last year. Back story: I've owned this truck since April of 2013 at...

    JK Unlimited Expedition Build

These would have been good for mounting your aluminum boxes. How much space is there between your tailgate table and drawer with the tailgate closed? I've wondered if you could store a store there instead of in a drawer where it eats up space.

Land Cruiser 100 to Jeep Rubicon Unlimited: Capability? Comfort?

Compared to my 100, this build is going to be minimalist. Keeping stock parts wherever possible, and using the lightest possible options. Except drawers. The weight seems worth it. With so many options, Jeep builds can go off the rails really easily. I usually find myself liking the stock...
