Just got an air locker and need info!

I think I am just going to bypass the locker ECU and run the switch straight to the pump. I'm just smart enough to know not to turn it on while going down the road.... :ylsmoke: This should be done with in 2 weeks.

Just got an air locker and need info!

Okay, if someone could post up a picture of the control unit and where it is exactly, I will go get one off of that SR. I just have to know what it looks like and where it is. That is if it is not on my truck already. AND.... is there a need to hook up the lock detection switch on the diff...

Just got an air locker and need info!

Okay, I fixed the rear aux socket.(the link in it was bad so I put in another one) I got the pump assembly, the switch, and the differential. What is this control unit you speak of sir? (I take it that it isn't already on the LS?) More importantly-WHERE? Thanks for the help!!! got to get...

Just got an air locker and need info!

Okay. With the diff lock switch in place, when I engage, I get no voltage to pump. Also the rear aux power plug is out. ALL fuses under instrument panel and engine compartment are good. ( tested with volt meter and visual). Any ideas where there may be a fusible link or another fuse I am unsure...

Just got an air locker and need info!

Off-roader, it's a 95 ls. I got the whole housing cause I new about the size difference. So the front diff of my LS will pair fine with the SR'rs rear? This is good news! I will start on cleaning it up tomorrow. Going to make it as new as possible. Have a bit of rust to clean off of it. I ended...

Just got an air locker and need info!

Okay, found a 1994 SR that still had the rear locker with air pump and switch. Took the rear out, grabbed the pump, pulled the switch. I found it in a pick and pull when I was looking for a condenser fan. (Switched that out already) The price was amazing so I didn't hesitate. Now I need to know...

    Tire size (another one)

I run 32 11.50 15 pro comp mud terrains with stock rims on my 95 LS. Have some slight rubbing on my front sway bar right side when I turn hard left but other than that they fit perfect. I moved up from 31 10.50 bfg all terrains and the difference visually is night and day. Same for the...

    Good deal?

Guess its not a terrible price, but I know some people have got those for less. I picked my LS up for 1500 a couple years ago. I am sure you know this but that does come with a factory rear air locker though which is priceless for some people. Just in case you don't want or need it I can always...

KYB monotubes sir.... Monotubes are better IMHO. FYI, the gas a just are monotube and that's what is on my rig. They have been through the gaunlet more than once and they are still perfect. other than the tires, they are probably the best thing I have done to it. Be warned!! If you do them...

    Quartzsite AZ gas and CEL

When the pumps stops, don't put anymore gas in it. If you try to get an even dollar amount, you may be putting too much fuel into the system and it may be passing into the EVAP control (i.e. pump, canister, lines, etc...). This would cause a CEL and is responsible for most EVAP system failures...

4 wheel light on gen 2.5

may be your answer There is a vacuum solenoid that you need to replace. It is called the 4wd shift solenoid and it is located under the hood, on the top of the right side fender well. I don't remember the part number but I do remember having the same issue with mine. I even have it posted...
