Since this comes up pretty much anytime someone is looking for an LR3; any particular reason for the locker?
I ask b/c many would say rack and stack options you desire to find the one most suitable for your application-but for the vast majority of those applications the locker really doesn't...
We have a woobie...it's a fantastic piece of gear, but as a warm sleeper I find that it can almost be too warm at times. In fact I tend to drift back to a regular poncho liner, which allows the wife to take the woobie wholesale since she sleeps cold.
So since the discussion has plenty of ample resourcing put to it already, I'll ask if we're talking pistol vice long gun.
Mostly b/c I tend to think of a pistol as something to get to a rifle; and when we're talking wilderness areas that very much is long gun work vice short.
I know this...
I want to see the crew as part of a calendar. Justin clearly will get Feb since it is Valentine's day, but put the whole group out there...
In all seriousness...LR3/LR4 LCAs, TREs, etc-i.e. the chance to get the pieces together to tighten up suspensions in the new year.
Not that i'm looking...
I'd lean towards a good set of snow tires-potentially just using a set of commonly avail 19's-vice throwing chains/cables on to oversized tires.
It occurs to me that oversized tires + chains/cables + EAS could make for a recipe for fun-but that's conjecture on my part.
I was much the same; began shooting with my dad on a Remington bolt action .22 (wish we still had it). Then I was fortunate enough to spend time active duty within the Scout Sniper community-once you have that kind of precision tools, well, everything just seems so basic after. That said, I...
Love some .22 action.
I don't tend to focus on the accuracy so much as just enjoying the plinking with the kids for cheap. Several different models in the inventory at the moment. 10/22, Umarex MP5, Cricket, and a .22 AR....among a few other calibers that you see in the pics.
Fav is really...
Will be interested to see how the ply works out; I agree a solid floor has benefits. All told I'm still pretty happy with the chicken coop flooring. Would be nice to have it all the way across the decking but given that the RTT is up there more than not now, that's basically moot.
No pics of...
So you want to replace a false binary with a...false binary?
Yes they are worth it, still. Do they have 2x the value of a cheaper, but potentially effective, solution?
It depends.
This thread is an illustration of that.

Here's the link for anyone looking for that mount: http://www.labtronx.com.au/aerial-bracket.htm
Not cheap, but great customer service, quickly shipped and a very solid piece of gear-thus well worth it.
The drawer setup...mine is likely to be a disaster of mildly ironic self mockery. The wife...
Realized I never put a pic of the step I put over the 3rd brake light to protect it. Nothing super elegant here, but thus far it seems to work as intended.
I invested in a couple of the Australian Labtronix bonnet antenna mounts after seeing Unseeone’s setup at 36hrs. Finally got around to...
You won't regret the prospeed stuff.
In terms of wheels/tires; once you get 20's grab some KO2s and that problem is sorted. Did you remove the rubbing strip or add it on?
If you get the measurements from Victory you should be able to just direct in with screws-I have a buddy using the aluminum runners I made for a BROG attic in his 5 seater, once he knew the distance he cut a small hole to verify and then screwed right in.
Guy Fawkes means bonfire at Twin Mountain.
As usual the weather up there was varied, with a decent amount of cold/wet.
Autohome continues to be an excellent investment and we are learning each time we use it. Double bag on top of the memory foam enhanced mattress, with memory foam pillows...
^this. Apologies for not responding earlier since I prompted that, but I’d say pretty much the same thing right down to how enjoyable working with Tim has been.

Unfortunate that the website put you off; and that you didn’t want products from AUS.
I’d suggest it would have met all your needs, isn’t hard at all to get, and the folks you’ll be working with are solid as they come. That’s been my experience with them ordering and then replacing my user...
So I don't hunt.
I'll caveat with that as a lead off; I don't hunt since I'm now at >20 years in the Marine Corps, starting out in the Scout Sniper world and then going from there...thus I do kinda hunt I suppose, but that sounds cliche.
I also end up hauling around way too much stuff on my...
