    5lb Propane Tanks

Ace Hardware online. They have one for ~$55 and you can usually score a $10 or $5 off coupon if you're patient. Free shipping to store.

    Pelican 65qt or 95qt

That's a very good idea. I think going with the 65 and a separate cooler for drinks might be a winner. I wish I had the $$ for a fridge.

    Pelican 65qt or 95qt

Having a tough time deciding between these two. The price difference is a non-issue. Cooler will support 4 people for trips from 3-5 days - and we usually pack way more food/beer than we need. Maybe not beer, you can never have enough beer. Cooler will eventually go in my M101A2 so the...

    PBColt M101A2 Basecamp Build

Thanks. It's a perfectly snug fit at the tip of the a-frame. I will still have the welders run a bead where the frame meets the tube. Should take them all of a minute and provide a little extra stability.

    PBColt M101A2 Basecamp Build

Tongue tacked in place. Decided not to go all the way back with the receiver tube. The original design for these trailers had all of the connection points near the front, so that's how I'll keep it. Going to add some plate/gusseting to make it stronger and have professional welders finish it...

    Tongue Jack w/ Pneumatic Tire

Does yours have a removeable foot? This might work: http://www.crofttrailer.com/croft-pneumatic-wheel-kit/#page=page-1 Edit: Or cut the old wheel off and drill a hole in the tube to accept the kit.

    Wiring M101A2 - Electrical Novice

Thanks. So you buy the jacketed 7 wire just to remove the jacket when you make jumpers?

    Wiring M101A2 - Electrical Novice

Thanks Brian. I already bought the 7-way molded and have that squared away. I'm leaning towards getting individual wires to complete the rest of the assembly. I should be able to zip-tie them together and cover them with wire loom to protect them.

    Wiring M101A2 - Electrical Novice

Ok, new questions. I've decided to replace the OE tail lights with aftermarket LED Lights so I'm going to be re-wiring the whole trailer in the process to also add the side marker lights. I don't know why I'm having so much trouble figuring this stuff out, but I am. 1. Should the gauge wire...

The Adventure Continues - Sedona to the Grand Canyon

Thank you for this report and the great pictures with it. My fiancée has never been to the GC and I think this might be the perfect trip to show her.

    My M101A2 Expo/Base Camp Trailer

Shade for days! That seems to be the ideal solution for these trailers. What model did you pick up?

Dstock's M101A1 build... or the reality, I needed a new project!

Man that looks awesome! I've reached out to a few companies regarding custom lids and they either won't do it or would charge an arm and a leg. It looks like you're using wheel chocks to keep the trailer from moving around. How are those working out?

    PBColt M101A2 Basecamp Build

Receiver tube mocked up. This tube is BEEFY. Unfortunately it can't tie into the frame in the back as it's shown, I'll need to put another piece of steel on top of the receiver to tie it into the upper frame as the M101's have a "lower" frame and an "upper" frame at different elevations which...

    PBColt M101A2 Basecamp Build

Great, thanks Titan. I'll take these pictures with me next time I go to the hardware store. Got the surge assembly/front stand off this weekend. Also disassembled the OE brakes to remove the parking brake cable. Next up is to weld in the receiver tube and hook up the parking brake...

The wind factor does concern me a little bit. This is the cover that I got with the Atwood: http://www.rvpartsnation.com/assets/images/catalogs/lg/1/atwood-dv2-slr-2-burner-cooktop-cover_138_1.jpg

Hedrick Speedsports - Overland Xpo Adventure Trailer

Awesome build. Looks great behind that Jeep. I want to own something like this one day. If you're selling that one I have a half-modified 30 year old military trailer that if you twisted my arm I'd trade straight up!

    PBColt M101A2 Basecamp Build

I bought an Atwood DV30-s ('s' just meaning the stainless model). I liked the 3 burners, stainless construction and definitely the low profile. I ended up buying it off Ebay brand new with the matching wind screen for significantly less than Amazon is selling just the stove for. The only...

    PBColt M101A2 Basecamp Build

Thank you. I will be re-using the parking brake cables, it's a great feature to have on the trailer - especially with a RTT up top. The hole pictured is drilled wide enough that you can hold the steel cable off to one side and still put the pin to lock the tailgate through. I will eventually...
