Have you verified that the springs you took off your truck were factory? The fact that you aren't seeing any lift with the OME 2885 makes me wonder if someone had already swapped them.
The OME 2884 with 5100s on the "stock" notch gave me 1.5" on my double cab.
That Coastal bumper looks...
Half tons are way more than enough truck to camp with an entire family. You just can't bring the entire 4 Wheel Parts inventory, 37 cast iron skillets, and three cords of fire wood along for the haul [emoji23]

Yeah the "unless you get to higher trims" is what I was getting at. Lots of folks like to knock on the Tundra for being outdated and then want to spec XLT or similar trims that don't really have anything extra anyway...
A door keypad is right there with Toyota's roll down rear truck/suv window...
I definitely understand where you're coming from on this. I like my first gen Tundra a lot but it's a 13 year old truck. There are a lot of differences between driving a 10+ year old truck vs. a 5 year old truck, and not all of them are good.

I rode in a 2019 Tundra TRD Pro recently and I would have to disagree that no advancements have been made since 07. The suspension and interior have both benefited from new technology and upgrades. Not to mention the 2015+ face is way easier on the eyes.
The new Tundras aren't packed to the...
That year Silverado in midnight trim is one of the best looking trucks on the road. I hope it treats you well [emoji106]
One of the last nice looking GM trucks before they turned the front end into a giant carp.

It's amazing how many people I talk to with similar problems. I test drove crew cab trucks with a three day old baby because I quickly realized my ECSB Silverado (with the suicide rear doors) wasn't gonna cut it after I strapped the car seat in. The poor salesman wasn't sure what to think...
If you hit the "compare trims" option you will see that the locker is included on all TRD Off Roads, regardless of cab option.
It was kind of hard to find, so I see how you overlooked it. You would think Toyota would flaunt that as an advertising opportunity anytime someone was shopping trim...
My wife is on her second WK2 currently and I drive them fairly regularly on family trips. I usually have to drop the seat down to get comfortable, but I'm also 6'4". Otherwise, they are pretty capable and very underestimated. They catch a lot of heat for being unibody, having independent...
Getting surprise snow and not seeing a damn thing sounds precisely like the Colorado elk hunting trip I took several years ago [emoji23]. Looks like fun!

I rung in the 100k milestone with some gravel roads today before I knocked out the oil change and tire rotation. It was pretty dreary out but I stopped for a quick photo-op anyway...

I love the build, but the experiences are my favorite part of this thread. It's so much better than reading a "money cannon" style build that never sees dirt. The thoughtful placement of upgrades really shines when we see how you use the truck.
I forget how much bulkier deer are in that area...
I actually don't mind this update on the ZR2, but I have always felt the ZR2 looked slightly "immature" anyway.
The first Raptor grill received criticism from skeptics when it hit the market but now that super-aggresive grill is a staple of that market.
The design cues are similar to the...
Most manufacturers will offer an LT265/75/16 and a P265/75/16. The LT version is built to different load carrying capacities and thus is typically Load Range E. The "P-metric" version should be lighter and and are typically not Load Range E certified. They're still plenty of tire for a mid size...
