Oh, and there's another early 1700s church up the east branch of the Cooper that looks a lot like the one you saw. It's amazing how much of that stuff is still around, hidden away on little backroads.
I live about 10 minutes from the Forest boundary, and I have yet to really get out into the middle of it...been on my list though. And Bonneau Ferry has been on my list as well. I have a free day tomorrow...I think I might know what I'm going to do with it.
And it's nice to see another...
Assuming my truck is totaled/destoyed...
If money is an object: I would try to find another 4x4 T100 with low miles...it's a hard truck to beat on for size, cost, and reliability for the way I use my truck.
If money is no object: My dream ride is a full-blown U-Joint Off-Road 7.3 diesel van or...
I second this motion. Not much aftermarket support, but if you're just going to use it as a truck you don't really need anything. I get up to 19/20 mpgs on long trips under 65mph (tanks to 15-16 of over 75 mph), it's 4WD and a bit over-tired from stock with 31s on it (originals were 235/75R15)...
Ouch. Thanks a lot Haggis. Guess I need to start shooting skeet with 3.5 mags to keep ahead. Just assume I have something in my eye later...it definitely won't be me crying into my sheel bag.
Yes, actually 20gs are extremely nice to shoot, especially for a 200+ round day. Although I really like over-unders for sporting, they seem to kick pretty hard unless they are heavy. A good 20g autoloader is a fantastic all around shotgun...shoot all day with significantly less kick, cool yellow...
I used to have an 870 pump for sporting clays/skeet/trap. Loved it, it was my first shotgun, was extremely reliable, and it fit me pretty well (and I wish I kept it!). However, if you get serious and once you get better, especially on the sporting clays course, the time required to pump becomes...
They do. Locked hubs esentially return the system to "stock." Open hubs prevents the front CVs and diff gears from turning, decreasing wear and tear, and prolonging CV boot life.
Bingo. And if you want to refurb them yourself, I have a spare (dirty, used, but operational) set on my bench. They...
ERG80 mounted an ARB to his T100. But he apparantly had to do major surgery (cut it up quite a bit) to make it work. You might ask him a few questions. Also, I have heard good things about the Gibson cat-back exhaust for the T100. You might want to consider it as an option. Oh, and as I...
Anything for a fellow T100 owner! I'm highly impressed with all the work you did. It looks great! I also used carpet padding in my truck. I noticed it seems to reduce outside noise a good bit, but mostly of high-frequency sounds. Some of the lower frequency sounds seem to be more prevalent...
great shop
Chris, I stopped by the shop last Friday as I was on my way to Fontana Dam. I just wanted to say it's a great shop with great guys working there. I was hoping to see V4 in person but you were out, but fortunately I got a glimpse of it as you passed me in town. As with most who admire...
Easy Solution!
Dunk it in Evapo-Rust overnight...it'll eat the rust without harsh chemicals. Worked great on a bunch of rusted hardware from some old Aisin hubs I refreshed...pulled out the hardware, dried it off and hit it quickly with a brush and the hardware looked practically new. I picked...
Yes, I should clarify...I too believe the 3.4 is great in terms of power. My father-in-law has a 4x4 3rd gen with the 3.4/auto and it feels significanly quicker/faster than my 3.4/5-speed/larger-tired 4x4 T100. Unless you are fully loaded and towing, the 3.4 in any configuration in a 3rd gen...
