    Lr4 roof racks

At some point you should drive my D1 w/255/85 MTs on it; that makes the 3 seem like a Bentley. Its all relative.

    Disco Dilemma(Transfer Case Swap)

I honestly am damn impressed you got as far as you did without doing it-I assume you pulled the gear on the old box or did you just unbolt and yank it all out somehow? If I recall...and I could be wrong (I have an R380) I think you could pop the access plate off the back and unbolt all that...

    Disco Dilemma(Transfer Case Swap)

The one time I did it, we pulled the access plate on the back (as it mounts on the truck) of the LT230 and pulled that gear out-then bolted her up to the tranny, and then re-installed the gear over the transmission shaft and buttoned it all up.

    Disco Dilemma(Transfer Case Swap)

You have the TC apart right, i.e. the drive gear is not in and the access panel on the back of the LT230 is open so you can mate the two together and then put the gear onto the transmission shaft-yes?

    Lr4 roof racks

True, and keep in mind the prospeed cost on the website reflects VAT; which you won't pay. Don't get me wrong...I hemorrhaged a lot of cash getting mine to the middle east but I have no regrets given the quality and how she looks.

Ben quoted me 300GBP on 15 Feb 16 as a ballpark.

    Lr4 roof racks

It isn't hard to get, it just is $$$. Ben is extremely responsive and prospeed def has tapped into global logistics. All of that costs money though. If L8 starts bringing the stuff to the US perhaps there will be some price savings but even then it won't be as cheap as any of the other...

    Lr4 roof racks

Had frontrunner, great rack-but as keeper1616 notes, you get some wind noise. (*though with mine, as a half rack, it wasn't that bad at all truthfully) Have prospeed...is amazing. Literally saves children while I'm driving down the street and girls won't leave me alone. Ok, so maybe not that...

    Advice on adventure-ready 99 Discovery 2.

I think its worth test driving the LR3 to get a comparison-I would note that if you are far from a dealer the Toyota may be a better choice just in case you find yourself dealing with issues that requires a dealer level capability. That said, as one of the ones that keeps raising the LR3 as an...

    Lucky8’s Project Discovery 3

So for the sake of discussion... ...and by all means don't take this as me sniping, my previous comment was totally in jest and you have to remember I'm the fool waiting for my truck to clear customs to eventually figure out if my FR aux fuel tank will fit so we're all in this together here...

What do you use for a truck gun?

Update since I had some duracoat that needed to be used and the budget AR pistol was nearby...so there it goes, no longer evil and black. Pic illustrates the size relative to a standard M4 sized rifle (it's a .22 but that's immaterial to the size). Exceptionally handy in this configuration...

So don't stress too much about those codes unless you are seeing significant performance issues; that said it is a good indicator that it is worth it to grab some Kingsborne wires and change the plugs in case those components are aging you know? The coil could be starting to go-or just have a...

    Lucky8’s Project Discovery 3

They are slightly smaller but bear in mind the relative weight of a V6 (or a TDV6 for that matter) and a V8 is just that...very relative. Good pads and a healthy brake system will likely be more than adequate if someone went down to V6 brakes.

Can't speak to ultra gauge, I have a scan gauge II mounted on my steering column behind the wheel. Awesome for code reading/clearing on the move but my fav part is getting a real # for coolant temp, you can see when the t-stat opens and such by watching the readings. Not as cheap as a...

    Advice on adventure-ready 99 Discovery 2.

It will work but will be tight for sure...and with that many folks in the passenger areas I am guessing you are going roof rack or trailer for all the stuff? (as the father of two daughters it always cracks me up when the four of us try to do something outdoors in the D1-or footprint of gear is...

Coyote; aka my 96 D1 5 speed build thread

Fridge 'tech' So the Ironman/Endel B/whatever fridge that we took to the UAE came back in the express shipment and as I prepped Coyote before last weekend to come to WV I decided it was time to put her back in. Take note; sending the fridge back; good. Forgetting to send back the cords for...

    Discovery I Feedback

2x on Kingsborne wires, well worth it-haven't used Taylor but they sound intriguing. Concur on the oil change and I'd go so far as to suggest changing at least the dif fluid's too-potentially transmission-so that you are baselining the vehicle yourself. I'd offer no major objection to...

What do you use for a truck gun?

So opinions, and to a degree data, on this is about as wide ranging and substantive as a toyota vs jeep vs rover vs whatever discussion. That said there is truth in the idea that there is no replacement for displacement in terms of caliber-i.e. if your truck gun application is in an area where...
