It appears you already have jack pockets in your canopy.
They are meant for something like this:
I would contact the manufacturer or dealer (Norweld et al) and see if they can provide. Otherwise not a hard fab job. I'd do it with hex bolt heads on the jacks so you can use a drill. Most...
MRAP? I'm assuming you'll have the LT bead profile? I haven't had him quote me yet for a 225x10 lug for Ford/Ram 450/4500, 550/5500 yet but I've seen him say anywhere from 750 to 850 per wheel on his FB page. Not sure if that includes powder coating. Seems like a fair deal still.
Been using these on river trips and 4x4 backcountry trips on the Colorado Plateau for decades. Army aluminum surplus sand stakes. Great price as well! You can find them all over the interwebs. I have a set of 9s and 12s for different applications...
Megamat for the win. There are knockoffs for way cheaper. But check the valves. MM valves come with easier adjustments of inflation level when you're laying down. Also an inflation pump with a deflation function really helps with breakdown. These take some effort to deflate and roll up.
For clarity, you have DBL single rims and Stazworks is doing the spacers? I would think the DBL should come set with the proper offset to run with a straight track? And you want to run "dish in” front and back? Any reason dish out doesn't work for you on the rears?
I know John offers a few...
Bummer. Lack of cash flow and a tapped customer base. Their pricing (and everybody else's) was simply out of control. Costs are up about 30% across the board in most industries. Not 250%. Interest rates are somewhere near natural for consumers. But absolutely wild for business cash flow. It's...
Awesome work right there buddy. Would be great on the river. Bookmarking this.
Been using this Behrens drain pans, two of them, for a fire pan setup camping and on the rivers. Multiple configs, side by side for larger parties. One pan for coals and cooking, the other for fire. Put rocks under...
I don't get all the hate. More work for more space. Still infinitely easier and faster than a ground tent. Whatever. Seems to be constructed well. I see so reason why it wouldn't hold up. Wind gets bad enough drop the roof. Same with other designs.
You've hit most of the pros and cons. I'll ad that a hard side is so much quieter. Especially for urban camping. Or in campgrounds the the ever present buzz of generators and SXS maggots. Limits where you can go. Weight is higher up so more sway. Also not garageable.
Drool worthy project rig. And yes, that drivetrain is worth the price alone. Love the underappreciated 8.1 Vortec. Absolute beast of a motor. I'm probably worse at project truck than you so GLWTS.
