Been looking long and hard. Here are a few I have found.
First one is a manual with 270k and an ugly paint job.

Another ugly paint job with a new built auto and 209k.

Third one is a...
Looking for an aluminium type truck canopy like the Gem Top Workmaster with the rear door that will fit on a 93 cummins. I do not see anything available. Next question. What other long bed trucks Ford/Chevy/ newer Dodges would fit on a first gen. cummins? What's the difference in bed size?
Any...
Personally I do not like the RTT kits. What I did was take a KargoMaster pro II construction rack and weld a platform on top that I can set my tent on. I have enough room for two north faces tents up there if they are the same size. Plus I have this big rack that I can strap a bunch of stuff to...
What to do is really very simple. Keep the truck you have, sell the motor, and do the Cummins conversion.
I own an IDI and while I do not believe it to be any more or less reliable than a powerstroke, it is atleast much cheaper and easier to repair.
Hi Steve,
You searched expedition portal and the rest of the world wide web and you could not find any information about the 7.3/6.0 diesel engines pertaining to pulling power, mileage and maintenance?
A very quick and easy search would reveal literally weeks and week worth of reading...
If you search the world wide web, even this site you will find literally hundreds of thousands of owners who absolutely hate the 6.0. Not to mention the number of people who work on them daily that have nothing but bad things to say about the 6.0
Sorry, but I wouldn't call adding to the list of...
Uhh, you are right, this has been talked about to death. Not just here but all the world wide web there is a mountain of information to the questions you have. I would suggest searching the internet a bit more.
It is no accident that the 7.3 is harder to find than 6.0's which some people can...
I do not think sales is a good argument for how great an vehicle is.
I also heard somewhere that bearing manufactures and engineers who design these motors give the GM around 200K rating, ford 250k, and Dodge 300K.
It's not that I think the new ford is bad, but I do not think it is as...
Blending is a good way to kill a motor especially one that is designed to last 300K. I personally would not do it but then again it's not a still under warranty 03 cummins.
I am assuming you have been testing the oil for water by using the hot pan test or other method?
You might want to look into a Sky shackle lift up front. It should give you 3" and a better ride so I have been told.

You might want to check out some military Hmvvee tire take offs. You can find some of the 37" military radial oz tires with 95% tread or better for 100 dollars a tire. Only problem is they require a 16.5 inch rim.
I know you are doing a lot of fender fabrication work, but I would be curious to see if those 38" tires with little lift will fit. Definitely keep the pictures coming!
I was looking at the 37" radials but I think I will have to go with a sky 5" shackle lift to get them to fit on my f-250.
