I think white would reduce the heat load on the Peli case quite a bit. It would almost certainly get scuffed and scraped, but acquiring a certain patina is part of having well used equipment.
I have a Rimova suitcase that's gone around the world with me more times than I can count -- it's...
The 4wheelparts.com website description of the Smittybilt Element Ramp notes it is "manufactured of Nylon Reinforced Plastic & each ramp can support up to 7,700 lbs".
What on earth are they talking about? Certainly not a bridging load. Maybe a static load on a supported surface? That seems...
Thanks for the support, Warn. I'm interested in the M series and VR series differences -- I was planning an M8000 for my Tacoma, but this new line is possibly an option.
Could you explain a bit about the value of contactor control v solenoids?
And thanks for the strong commitment to US...
Here in the "east" (although a few miles west of the Mississippi), we have only one species of hummingbird, the Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Archilochus colubris.
The Rockies and westward have a number of species. Could you tell us which ones you've captured in your photos?
TIA,
Don
It's pretty common in Europe to put a roller at the back edge of a roof rack to facilitate loading and unloading of longer/heavier items. Something similar oughta work well for a small hull.

That looks like astoundingly poor craftsmanship. Horrifying. That's *got* to be anomalous for Sportsmobile West, yes?
Can any other SMB owners report on their results from lifting the curtain?
This one has been listed on eBay several times before, and has been discussed here on ExPo, too. I guess nobody else values it quite as much as the current owners.
Useful post, Antichrist. Thanks!
I have the ACA HID headlamp conversion kit for my 2001 Tacoma, which is a DOT compliant system (as I understand it). They're not self leveling, which dates them technologically, but otherwise are designed around the HIDs, not a simple retrofit. Just shoving...
This link came across the autox.team.net Triumphs list. Thought it might be useful for the folks running old iron here, too. Nothing *specifically* Land Rover, but there were only so many parts in the British motor industry bin, and they all shared a lot of stuff from the Prince of Darkness...
There are products similar to this that work only in landscape mode. Does this one have a portrait display option? That would be more convenient for my iPhone in my Tacoma.
Nice looking tools. There's a similar tool for wire wheel knockoffs for British sportscars made from baltic birch plywood.
I've put lids on things at altitude in Colorado that I haven't been able to take off 10,000 feet lower in Missouri. I had a polycarbonate box in my camp kitchen that I...
That's a rhetorical question, isn't it, Doc? If it's rust free, and you buy it and don't want it after all, call me and it can come to MO! And you'll be more than whole. My company has a plant and offices in SD, so it'll be a business trip.
