    BFG KM2

I see these type of quote often and I wonder if the posters actually have been out off road and compared performance side by side against other brands. Mud performance is OK and on par with other similar streetable "mud" tires. It is certainly not "very, very good". You need proper off road...

What do you mean by "suit"? Are you worried about looks or performance? If performance, in what type of terrain? As to size, that is another open question... What rims do you have?

How to weld with dual batteries, jumper cables and a welding rod- video

It is not a direct short. You will get around 100 amps or so through the 1/8" rod, maybe a bit more, much less than a starter. Assuming 50 A-h batteries, you have half an hour, which is a huge amount of time.

    300 TDI

Just make sure you get at much as possible from the donor truck. Decide, plan and budget for maintenance work that you want to do at the time (hoses, clutch?...) and have those parts come with the engine.

    Which electric radiator fan?

You need the fan if you go off road. It is rare it is needed on the road. Off road it is needed all the time.

    Which electric radiator fan?

There is a shroud for the fan that covers the radiator. The intercooler is not shrouded. The stock fan shroud goes over both the radiator and the intercooler but is poorly designed and restricts airflow through the intercooler.

    Which electric radiator fan?

Reliability and capacity are all in the design and implementation of the system. It is important to use a fan with adequate capacity and design and build it to be reliable. This is all easily possible. the system I use has much more flow capacity than will ever be required and is built to OE...

    Which electric radiator fan?

When done properly an electric fan works well. The viscous fans are quite unreliable, IME. You can see my writeup above. Mine has been in for years, with a lot of hard use. No problems at all. For expedition trip, I carry a spare motor in case. They cost very little. I used a Flexalite...

    Tires? Tires? Tires?

All those size require trimming. A simple spring lift will not affect the amount of trimming needed.

    Quaife ATB diff

If for on road, I would not waste your money. You should not need one and it won't do much anyway if you already have working rear ETC. I would suggest trying Goodyear Duratracs. Quite good on snow and ice and not bad off road. Much better than the BFG ATs for both purposes.

    Quaife ATB diff

Really? I live in a very wintery location and drive on ice and snow half the year. I have find no difference on the road with the Detroit or Truetrac from when I had open diffs. As to the OP, I would put an Ashcroft ATB diff in the rear or in both. They work great with the traction control...

Good to hear. I've been through 4 lift pumps in 5 years. They are very unreliable....

200Tdi Fuel Bleed Question: The saga continues...VICTORY!

If the lift pump is working, when you crank, you should get tons of flow from the filter bleed screw. If you do not get this, you have a massive intake side leak or a dead lift pump. The return lines should have nothing to do with anything as those are all after the engine and the filter. I...

200 Tdi Cold Weather Issue or Something More Sinister?

Yah, gelling. It depends on where you get the fuel from. Throw in some Powerservice 911 and then follow with Powerservice in the white bottle every fill. Can't hurt to change the fuel filter.
