Ok, I am an AEV fan boy and have had 2 of their lifts on jk's a 2.5 and 3.5. that said there are many lifts more capable. I would look at Metal Cloak as one of my first choices altho they are going to be a bit taller than 2".
I do not believe AEV sells any more tj lifts.
holy crap 39 and 43. this is an e rated tire drop it down to 32 and enjoy the ride. Unless LR3's weight 7000lbs no need to run that much. I have a fully loaded wrangler 4 door and run 28lbs with e rated st maxx's.
Crazy, I have had 2 AEV lifts (2.5 and 3.5) and at least 3 other sets of billsteins 51000's and they never corroded like that. I hit them with a coat of carnuba wax once or twice a year and mine never corroded and I live where it is winter 6 months a year and they magnisum chloride on the...
I have used the AEV 2.5 it is great but not designed to handle a ton of weight which sounds like you have. OME makes some heavy duty 2" coils that might be better for you and Tera Flex makes some out back 2.5 coils that can handle heavier weight. The AEV 3.5 is more designed to handle heavier...
I am amazed at how some people don't mind being screwed over. My guess if they were in the OP's shoes they would not take the screwing so willingly or maybe they would. I have never sued anyone before and never have had to hire an attorney in my 59 years but I would in this case. I would say it...
I never said it was made by interstate just bought at interstate :). For me a single 12V works better than two 6V simply from a space point. I will check out Duracell 12v of equal ah for sure. My brother in-law said he had a hard time finding 12V golf cart batteries as most are 6V. I am not...
Here I thought my Blackstone grill was perfect because it doesn't need any box or bag. I just flip the griddle part upside down and stack my stackable totes on top of it.
always be careful using suitcases and such from goodwill if you are doing any border crossings. Never know if they were...
I just looked at my brother in-law's golf cart batteries that he just bought they are 12V 150 Ah@20 hours. he said they were $164 apiece thru a buddy at the local Interstate Battery store.
I will one up you on the Eureka Timberline. I have had one since the early 80's and while I don't use it much any more, I bet I have a 1000 nights in it. It still has the original aluminum poles. It still does not leak and has withstood some horrendous storms over the years. There might be...
I use a Planetary Design press. It works great and makes the best coffee camping or at home. It is stainless so easy clean up and the grounds are all but dry when you are done. Dump them in the garbage they are not going to leak. I often just burn them in the fire pit if we are staying in a...
In the last couple of years I have had the first 3 on your list and the last Toyo at2 and Toyo R/T. For me the ST Maxx and Toyo R/T are tied for best in class followed by the Toyo at2 and KO2 and last place goes to the Cooper AT3. I have had several pair of Toyo AT2's and several pair of ST...
So say I buy tires at Discount tires or les schwabb or whoever and I get a flat and I bring it it 4.1 years later to get it fixed...you dont think that is messed up? Hell they could have sold it to me when it was 5 years old but they refuse to work on it. I am lucky I do all my own work but...
