Guess there is no reason you couldn't put an awning on both sides of the truck. Seems like many of the pickup crew do it. Also, is there any reason the awning couldn't be closer to the ground aside from dragging it off in the bushes?
Actually, the guy who does the Youtube video channel, Down2Mob did mention that it looked a lot like an EC at the start of the video. As a one off, it isn't quite as polished as the EC, but a nice job anyhow. Hopefully EC will watch the video and see if there are any ideas that make sense for...
I agree that many of these companies could improve their communications, but evidently they have enough business to keep them busy or they would likely figure out how to answer the emails. I have had the same problem with many other companies also trying to find information on vehicles or parts.
You might give them a phone call. I seem to have better luck with this type of vendor with a phone call. They likely get tons of emails and figure someone who calls might be more serious.
So, it's basically a large truck camper, but at least it's on a beefy enough chassis to handle the load. Would be nice to see some specs on it with length, width, weight, capacities, etc.
Interesting, but looks like a typical Elkhart, IN camper bolted to a beefy chassis. There are a couple of other F550 Class C's with 4x4 out there, but at least this one has the super single option. Not sure I like it as well as the GXV Adventure Truck though. Also, no address for the company...
I like the idea of the closed loop shower system that reuses the water, but I wonder how long these have been out there and if they have been field proven yet.
Wonder if this is the system they are using?

The Bliss Mobil guy at Overland Expo East mentioned that there was some talk about importing a couple hundred Unimogs to the USA and that they could be used for their camper boxes. Who knows if or when that might happen, but it was interesting to note that they at least had a vehicle at the...
And, it looks like the LTS is going away, so the LTi is the only choice now.
The EarthRoamer XV-LTS is now discontinued and replaced by the LTi.
ER 244 will be the final LTS ever produced. Should you be interested in purchasing one of the last two LTS spec trucks at a lower price than LTi...
Something like the EarthCruiser EXD poptop with the bed extended over the cab might be a good option if they ever do it. You don't lose as much living space by putting the bed over the cab. I know it would be similar to the XPCamper V1, but I think EC could do a better job.
Maybe it's just me, but I would love to see something like this on the back of a ujoint 4x4 E350.
