Do you honestly need a jerry cans? You said the most you're planning on doing is some fireroads and camping. I find it hard to believe you'll be hundreds of miles away from a gas station. You can also be creative is storing water inside the car easily enough.

You can leave the winch and jerry cans at home to save some space. What do the dogs weigh?

I agree that the market value is what it is. I feel it's tough to justify that much $$ on an engine design that's 13 years old. I know you said no SUV's but a 4th gen 4runner is much roomier than the 3rd gens.

For that price I would NEVER buy a toyota with the 3.4 in it. Drive a Toyota with the 4.0 V6 for five minutes and you'll never go back.

Is your armor painted or powder coated?

Here's a little update for anyone's who's interested. I checked out the truck and it definately had some shortcomings. The sunroof was fubar'd. It pulled right. SOFT brakes. Smashed rearview mirror. Some of the buttons were broken. Popped out of 4H Lc... These were just a few things I noticed...

I like that one better...and now I know they have a Toyota bolt pattern. This thread is getting heavy with Montero knowledge.

Saw this truck in person today. This thing was BEAT. You can clearly see the smashed headlights and tons of duct tape being used in the video.
