As long as your wife is comfortable.
I can bivvy anywhere, and tent heaters are a joke. But that might just make the missus hate camping.
I'm still trying to get my sister to come camping with us. But one bad experience ruined that.
My CC truck was $38 000. If built online I think it's $44 000. You have to be really smart with options, and consider cost's of building lower models. Are you building a truck for camping, or are you building a truck replacement for a BMW M5?
The good deals are on the lots. A lightly...
Or at least "snowflake" rated tires.
In Ohio, winter specific tires better have clear cut, well defined, circumferential grooves. Otherwise they'll be terrible in slush.
This Nokian is a fair example of a tire with good Canada reviews, that's useless in the snow belt:
This tread pattern...
An F150 or larger should rarely need 4wd on the street in snow. I'd skip the AWD wants, and instead go towards much better tires. I'm in Ohio. I went all of last year without needing 4wd in the snow, except for a few icy hills. I generally recommend Cooper ST Maxx and STT's...
Yeah, but my reman was a 3v 5.4L. They did not replace the cam phasers. Who knows how many miles were on them. Very loud. Reman'd engines just get reman'd as needed. They don't get fully rebuilt.
The V10 doesn't have that issue. But if I could afford a factory new engine, and a...
That chock looks pretty tough.
The adjustable wheel locks that cops use, fall off, eventually, if you just drive off with them. We used to secure our rental generators in the south like that. Some momo cell phone company put a boot on their own, then made me retrieve it in an emergency...
Yeah, I'd never do that. A Jframe is better for pouch carry.
If you're going to put a Glock somewhere that takes a minute to get to, minus as well leave it with an empty chamber. It's just too floppy, soft sides, somewhat uncovered trigger. I'd be OK if they bolted a kydex holster inside...
The chinese wanted to copy the f22, but they put the wings and tail in the wrong spots:
So yeah, unless you want your ring gear on backwards.............
Consider Yukons Zip Locker.
Brand new long block is about $7500. Reman'd long block is about $4000. Install is $2000.
If the truck is rust free, I'd go new. Maybe I'd rebuild the auto trans at the same time.
Well if all you need is a Suby Outback, then get a Chevy truck or Suburban. Brilliant!
LOLz, my sentiments exactly. Way better than my Express van ever was:
Give the stock lamps a chance. You might find they cut through dust better. And there are brighter bulbs for them.
I have no choice, I live in the snow belt where LED's are useless.
I'd just hitch up and go. Nobody is going to notice the tire squeal. Pull over and cut the chain off a mile away.
My truck won't even notice if that trailer has tires or not.
I've never seen in enforced, but the state parks fine print does mention that campers that are slept or cooked in have to be certified. But as detailed as your drawing is, it's a pretty safe bet you'd pass anyways. It's $180 IIRC.
I wouldn't bother with it. Nobody is going to look...
