Yeah, if you're talking weigh stations and such.
But they've been targeting RV parks now. Sitting right down the road. I guess someone caused a big accident or something. They're concentrating on half tons towing 5th wheels, for now.
13" directly under the axles. Much more under the bumpers and body, I'll have to get my ruler out I guess.
In that pic, it looks really low in the front.
Do this where I live, and you won't have an oil pan:
At least it's all aluminum though. Hopefully there's a sport version with some more ground clearance.
A 5.0L V6, single turbo, center exhaust, would be perfect for my F250.
We're seeing the same effect with the new 7.3L gas engine coming out. F250 guys want them as well. But the F250 doesn't need such.
They're not hauling a camper or towing a boat like they should be.
That's the problem with the oversized, over powered, modern diesel engines, they aren't working hard enough to get into their efficient range of use. It's been a problem forever. You need at least 30% load. 50% would be...
If the headaches aren't part of the fun, then they're absolutely the wrong vehicle. The 74mph top speed is a deal breaker for me, for now. That's the cruise speed of my F250 with a camper or small TT.
I drive down, stopping 5 miles away, then unload a bicycle with a little trailer and a pop up tent. Then I tell everyone I'm expo'ing around the world and make up silly stories about far away lands that don't exist.
Last year I taught one the FWC guys a fake rain dance.
I'd just roll in...
You just need more rear rebound damping because of the stiffer rear springs. No big deal, call these guys and prepare a suitcase of cash:
