My 2002 E350 didn't have an aux pickup so I did the same thing as the previous post. Drilled a hole through that stainless steel flange with a drill press and fitted the webasto pickup tube kit.

Does WeldTec form and cast / machine those suspension parts them selves? They look factory made.

Bummer! I think that is really common GM transmission and readily available from parts yards or an off the shelf rebuilt unit. Probably the best the dealer can do is swap in a used transmission if they have their own mechanic and shop. That would be a pretty fair deal since it's a 10 year old...

Good point on the axle clearance being similar between a half ton diff with 33's compared to a one ton diff with 35's.

Regarding exhaust blockage. I had a cat go bad once on an mazda truck. A chunk broke loose and clogged it up and then blew out and another chunk eventually get stuck and blew out before I replaced it.

The heater looks almost identical to the Webasto that I had. The Webasto had a loud click from the fuel pump and the circulation fan would never fully stop when the unit was on. Have you noticed either of those things with the Russian heater?

If building suspension systems is someone's passion and hobby that's great, it can be a lot fun. From my observations over the years wheeling, a lot of people can source parts from scratch, stick an axle under the front of a vehicle and make the front tires turn. Less people can do it safely...

Would help to see a couple photos of the shackle from other angles. I cant tell if the springs are bolted to the front or back of the shackle. It looks like if bolted to the front of the shackle, the springs are too short and shackle angle is restricting movement. If bolted in the back hole then...
