I am curious: Has anyone here ever overheated a 4.0 enough to damage or blow it? I run an Autometer temp gauge and it regularly shows temp at 220. Sometimes on steep grades it gets up to the 240-250 range. My engine has a supercharger on it and I expect higher than normal operating temps. My...
Here is the link to the federal requirement for your trailer which is the same in California. Your trailer will fall under the requirement of the diagram of the first trailer, the small utility box.

Wholly smokes buddy, you need to go on an energy diet!...running the fridge in AZ in August and charging four 18V power tools we never dipped below 11.8....Got a particle beam splitter hooked to that thing or what?
A 416 or 101 will be too short to accommodate the 12-17 foot canoes as both trailers are sub 10 feet. The 416 is 108.5" to be exact. There needs to be at least 3 feet between the bow of the trailer and the rear of the vehicle to allow for articulation through driveway dips & the like. Take it...

Rinse & let air dry
You're good to go
Not all AGM batteries are created equal. Only a "Valve Regulated" AGM will not out-gas. Optimas BTW are NOT Valve Regulated. Some Deka and Lifeline batteries are for example the Deka 8A31DT or the Lifeline GPL-31 MT.
ATV tires are not rated for highway speeds nor are they DOT approved for that application, for good reason. Using them at highway speeds could result is dangerous trailer sway conditions and potential blowout.

Most of the hitch carriers I have seen pose the same downside of reducing your departure angle on the trail. If you decide that a rear carrier is the way to go for you, I recommend that you have nothing less than a class III hitch and that either the carrier or the hitch pin you use with it...
I was spotted up high...too high on an off camber turn...to avoid an eroding drop off. In the too high position I was strapped off with a synthetic winch line and a strap around the cab. While trying to negotiate this wider turn with the strap on, the ground gave way underneath the drivers side...
