    Which Lr3 Sump Guard

I've got the Terrafirma front skid and it is a solid protector with no worries of heat because there are plenty of gaps for air to cool. I've been to Moab wheeling in 90F+ heat with the air conditioning running all day and no probs, so put that one to bed now and decide which plate to slap on...

    Rack options, LR3

Funny you should ask about getting it off the wrack as I just slashed a side wall last month and needed to pull it down while on the trail. I'm not gonna lie, the wheel is heavy, but I just slide it half way off the wrack balanced on the edge and then step down to the ground and pull it off and...

    My "New to Me" LR3

Gorm, good to hear things are progressing to the better. I recently replaced my rear air valve block after discovering that the rear was dropping once I pulled the fuse overnight. I'm all good now and sometimes in the morning when I fire up the vehicle the compressor doesn't even need to run, it...

    Rack options, LR3

Here's what I did with my Land Rover Expedition Rack to mount a 60" Hi-Lift, Shovel, 2 x 5 Gallon jerry cans, 32" spare tire, and my latest addition, the TRED traction boards. The jerry can holder is from Front Runner, just needed to drill two new holes in its base to mount it. The High Lift...

    V6 LR3, are they good?

I've got a V8 myself and have No experience with the V6's. What I do know of the V6's is that gas mileage isn't much better than that of the V8, it's a heavy vehicle and needs lots of power (V8).

    My "New to Me" LR3

My money is on the front air valve block which is located in the Front Right wheel well behind the well liner (you need to peel it back to gain access to valve block). With a 2008 you very well could have a problem with your air compressors air dryer spewing white powder from the desiccant...

Expedition Portal Project: 2008 Range Rover Sport

FYI: I believe Tactical 4x4 in California is making a different air compressor mount bracket that doesn't hang down so low which would have saved you the trouble of modifying the best sliders ever made! (I have RS sliders on my Disco 3 too)

    Johnson rods, good or bad?

I use Johnson Rods and have zero complaints. Super easy to install (just make sure you've got a good forked tool. I use a trim removal tool). I keep them on full time now as I've got a Nanocom to lower my truck via software when I'm not off roading. As far as mileage and handling goes, the...

Here's my 2006 Disco 3 so far Started with this as you see in summer 2013. I still use the 20" wheels for winter/summer but I put 265/50/20R Nitto Terra Grappler's on, nice all around tires that did great in the winter here in Minnesota. Now I have this: 2006 Discovery 3 - Locking Rear Diff...
