There is no way the 3.5 EB and the V8 gets the same mileage.
At least not the ones I have driven.
In my experience the 3.5 gets about 2-3 mpg better economy.
This is at 5000 plus field elevation.
I have the 3.5 EB. The times I have checked the LOM against the math after a fill up it have generally been within 0.5 mpg. On either side that is.... :)
Just got back from our Grand Junction,CO to Yellowstone NP and back.
Several mountain passes, numerous stuck and go in the NP, and a few 80mph freeway runs.
Highest we saw was 25.7 mph on one tank full.

I have the 36 gallon tank.
After driving from Rock springs WY to West Yellowstone and then 3 days in yellowstone NP.
Lots of stop and go. Just filled up and saw a 900 mile range... ha. That's a first. :)

I already have a trailer that I love so I am not in the market. I would however like to lend my support to your effort and fight to establish your company. It is a tall order and hard to do, but IMHO you are doing the right thing. In a kind, and courteous way be transparent, just like...
I see now what you meant. I guess mine don't do that, but as my added bumper is very close I don't have but 1/2 inch clearance between the door and bumper. I wonder what torqued to flex the door downward.
Ha ha ha...... right. Didn't think of that. :)
In reality this was the vision I had when I bought it a few years ago. As it sits here I think I am about just under 10k into it as she sits.
Best swiss army trailer ever.
I really would like to loose the big OEM wheel spacers and perhaps replace them with a pair..... even if that means a different set of drums and in that process bring each wheel inward 3 inches.
Any ideas of what will fit?
