Back several
Have been covered extentionally here.
Truth be told I dont remember.
I can have a look tomorrow as I have it in the airport.
I did not have to grind anything.
Fit right in.
Mine is registered in CO. Trooper walked around and checked safety and equipment. Mesa county tax assessed it. Paid taxes. No problem at all. I will ring them tomorrow..... it really dont need the vin, as the state of CO already have issued me one.
There is really only one weak spot. As you mentioned the welds on some trailers, mine included, in the tongue bend. If you see any cracks in the welds then you have an issue, that will show itself over time. we all added some pictures earlier in this thread of our cracked welds. That should give...
Thanks silver. It is a really cool mod as I no longer have to move the propane bottle.
Just plug in the stove and grill in the QR port.
Water heater is hard plummed.
This Smitty have become everything I wanted it to be.
Propane bottle is not fully installed. The line runs from way back to the Carbon Fiber tankless water heater box. In there it has the regulator for the water heater, but prior to that will tee off to the quick release mount for the Stove and Grill. This was the plan all along as the big box was...
I have no issues with mine. Tow vehicle is 2018 F-150 with OEM brake controller. when I tug on the brake controller you can clearly feel that the trailer pulls. Effort is medium at 5.
The fact that they did work but then reduced in effort, would lead me to say an electrical connection. True that...
If you have a good trailer store like western impliments or any I suppose they will carry a replacement 30 inch long jack for about $60. I am looking hard on the ARK 7, and 950, I think it is called, but for $250-300, it is a bit hard to swallow. ( says the idiom just making a $700 CF tounge...
Beside the tongue issue which I fixed myself on mine, I think the Smitty can go pretty much anywhere any other trailer can go. Chinese steel in general is softer than US. I might be wrong on that as a blanket statement, but that is my experience from welding both. When I added the gusset on...
That looks awesome. Thanks for sharing. It is very interesting that one of the lowest priced trailers, and perhaps most bashed, has such a devotion of followers. Page 112 in just two years, and the mods......wooooow.
Simply fantastic, and I to, am very thankful for the fact that so many people...
Thank you sir.
