    Awesome Ford roaming around Jackson

That’s true too. It does not include any shelter accommodations. I really do like the idea of a flat bed with the flip down sides though and the added storage boxes are an extra feature that most American flat beds lack. It’s especially nice if you do use your truck as a truck. Although...

    Awesome Ford roaming around Jackson

The biggest advantage with the PCOR flatbed/canopy is that it’s Keyed and fob’d to the factory keyless entry. It’s a small thing, but to me makes a big difference in fit and finish. It is however very expensive. Flat bed - $14,390 3/4 Canopy - $17,990 Drop Down Kitchen - $1,990 Total...

    Expedition One Rear Bumper

ARB just took the bumper they’ve been making for 20+ years and changed to mounts to fit a Ram. It’s wildly unimpressive. BUT, it works, is readily available, and offers a skid plate for the ‘13+ trucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Awesome Ford roaming around Jackson

I’m not referring to their company Ram, I’m referring to the build they offer the public. According to the build sheet on the site, the only custom thing that it gets is the decal kit, fender flares, and extended range gas tank. The rest of the parts are off the shelf stuff unless there are...

    Awesome Ford roaming around Jackson

Either the Australian dollar is exceptionally weak, or the guys over at Patriot have lost their damn minds. $220,000 for a Ram 3500 with a tray bed! That’s insane. At most it’s a $70,000 chassis cab truck, plus let’s say $10,000 for suspension goodies and labor, then $20k-$30k for the tray and...

    Expedition One Rear Bumper

Anyone know how many of these Ram bumpers they’ve made? I’d also like to know if any of the Toyota guys have had the same issues with them, as I’ve never heard a bad word about them until this thread. But I also wasn’t looking for reviews prior to this thread either. Sent from my iPad using...

    270 deg square back?

I would need it on the back side (tailgate), not the passenger side. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Anyone got any updates on this? I still have not found a reasonable solution. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Ram HDs with 37s. Do you carry a spare?

I think that Titan Mount will only work with certain size tires. If you have a CCSB I’m almost positive that the Titan tire holder will not work in the space as shown above on a 37”. I’ve been wrong before though. If you have a rambox truck, it could probably be modified to work as shown...

For your price range, you’re going to have to go the used route. I just don’t see you getting what you’re looking for in a new trailer for under 30k. Now if you could deal with a heated tent then that would open up a few options like patriot, turtle back, etc. Sent from my iPhone using...

Ram HDs with 37s. Do you carry a spare?

Or you could just add latex sealant to your tires, not worry about a flat, and just be done with it. Hell Porsche doesn’t even add spare tires to their cars but every one of them has a bottle of sealant in it. That stuff works like a charm too. I run it in my tubeless mtb tires. Sent from...

Ram HDs with 37s. Do you carry a spare?

I know on a dodge/ram a 35” will fit underneath if it’s deflated. Not sure what will fit a Ford. But if you want an aux tank, just buy the Titan spare tire tank, it’s 30 gal, and run your spare vertically in the bed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Conqueror makes trailers like you describe with a pop top; howerver, they start at 25k USD I think and get as haughty as 60k. BUT, they can take the abuse. There is also a guy in Atlanta, @DUTCH, selling his Kimberly that also meets your specs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Next Question: Diesel vs. Gas F350

Fair point, but Domestic travel trailers are literal twig built cabins on wheels. They are notoriously poorly made and do not hold up to even the lightest of off road conditions. If you don’t leave the pavement, go for it. If you do ... go with the gods. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Next Question: Diesel vs. Gas F350

I don’t see why it wouldn’t work as long as the TT was the right length. Ive seen guys do it on larger rigs, so a 550 should be able to handle a small TT. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison, COMING SOON!

5k more and you still get to hope your side curtain airbags don’t deploy on a dirt road. That’s a great deal! All joking aside, unless one wants the AEV badging and interior stitching, you’d be WAY better off buying a basic trim level and tricking it out on your own. Sent from my iPad...

Is there something between a teardrop and a regular caravan?

I forgot about those guys. Those are great little rigs for smaller tow vehicles. I do wonder how “off-road” they are though. What drives me nuts about so many domestic campers, as well as vehicles, is the marketing these things get for the off road crowd. Just look at the debacle with GM...

Next Question: Diesel vs. Gas F350

I didn’t know you could get a Range Rover in a diesel. Is it a ford diesel or a British made one? I’ve got several friends with Range Rovers and not a single one has ever said anything good about them, primarily the drive train. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is there something between a teardrop and a regular caravan?

You might want to look into a Conqueror. The 440 might be what you need, as it’s about the same size as a standard tear drop. If you want bigger there is always the 490. 440 490 I feel like these bridge that gap of tear drop and caravan since you can cook inside or out and they have...

    Colorado ZR2 Airbags

I honestly can’t believe GM won’t fix most of them. Especially after a demo rig did it on video while a reporter was driving. That’s just negligent. The sad thing is, it usually takes a very serious injury to trigger a recall. Manufacturers actually have actuarial scientists on payroll that...
