National Luna Power Pack Alas, this won't fit the new, smaller 4Runner like it did in my 100 Series, so I've gotta order the under the hood version from Equipt.... Used but in fine working condition, with battery cables. Has two small holes in the box, where I had a solar charge controller...

I'm thinking a simple cargo floor, so that it's easy to remove for daily driving/grocery getter duty.

I have yet to need the winch. Used the a trac, locker and crawl control though! I'm really enjoying the low key look so far. -H-

Height and weight are my two concerns as well. I've got a Tembo Tusk fridge slide that would allow more height, but adds an additional 35 lbs. Tradeoffs. Thanks!

I'd be interested in seeing more of your cargo floor, and how you've attached it to the factory floor? Using the factory tie down points? I'm debating bolting directly to those points, or raising it up for additional storage and possibly using turnbuckles to hold it down and for easy removal.

It's probably ocd...but two things I don't skimp on: Tires and Batteries.

With the -800+ lb. weight difference between the 4Runner and the 100 Series, I find the 4Runner to be just as responsive. The additional fuel range is spoiling me. I averaged around 19 mpg over the weekend; whereas the 100 would have averaged 10-12 mpg.

I'm a little disappointed you're not reporting from somewhere in Mexico in this rig...I mean...you checked the fluids and put new tires on it; what more do you need? -H-

Generally, 5th Gen parts will work. Might make sure options like the KDSS will or won't effect the fit of certain things, like sliders. ARB is "a couple months out" on snorkels....but if you must, I've seen the Australian petrol ones for a 150 Prado fit with good results. -H-
