Honestly I think it depends upon the boot. The legs have zippers which increasse the lower leg/calf width by about 1" or so, and also zippers to pull the pants on/off with boots on.... Not sure if my new Sidi Discoverys would fit underneath, because they've put newer, larger armor on the...
