Expedition Overland - Mackenzie Trail 2016 - On YouTube soon!

I watched the first, and about half the second at work this morning before work. I may wait and watch the rest on my 40" LCD TV when I am home, or catch the rest at work again Friday morning. I have to say these episodes have outdone themselves, very good. As for skeeters, I have tired all...

Crossing the Cascade Mountains on the Historic Naches Wagon Trail

Greenwater is my favorite place to explore. I have been going there since the mid 80s, and I have barely seen all of it. So many fun old roads to turn down too, and some of them you have to turn around as they dead end. But sometimes a magical camping site is at the end of one of those spur...

Crossing the Cascade Mountains on the Historic Naches Wagon Trail

Another great video! Thanks for the roads, I have probably been on some of those, but did not know it. I also like to go up 70 all the way, and over the top and drop down onto 410 that way on the East side. You pass a lot of spur roads that are great for camping. When I head up to Greenwater...

Crossing the Cascade Mountains on the Historic Naches Wagon Trail

Great video. Not to much damage with just that taillight. I did that run with some others when I had my '91 4Runner. No lockers, street tires, running boards, I was scared poopless :D Had a hard time in there slippin' and a slidin' over tree roots. A few of us opted to not take the trial back...

    Expedition Overland - 2015 Season

You are welcome. I really dug that power management one, but my needs are a lot less than theirs, but it was cool seeing all that stuff in the Goose Gear box. I wish Goose had a box that would fit the FJ with the new fridge I bought, but you need more length in the back, so only the Engel fridge...

    Expedition Overland - 2015 Season

"Do you want some more?" OK, what quote is the above line from, what movie? I personally have seen it a gazillion times, one of my favorite Sci-Fi flicks. More just came in...

    Expedition Overland - 2015 Season

Nice to see more videos coming. I believe they are going to be doing one too on fridge wiring pretty soon. Getting my rig rewired with probably 8 gauge amp wire dedicated from the aux battery with a 15 amp fuse back to the rear plug I installed for my National Luna Weekender 50 fridge I...

You are welcome. I had to Google that :D https://www.google.com/search?q=%D0%91%D0%BB%D0%B0%D0%B3%D0%BE%D0%B4%D0%B0%D1%80%D1%8F&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 Last time I worked with leather was back in the early 70s in Boy Scouts. Had a wallet kit I had to stitch together with plastic stretchy lacing.

Corey's 2007 FJ Cruiser built for expedtion/overland, & daily driver

That was another con I forgot to add to the list :D About double the price of a new 50 liter ARB fridge, but I feel it is worth it. These have been used in Africa for years to transport medicines, and they need to be very accurate.

Corey's 2007 FJ Cruiser built for expedtion/overland, & daily driver

National Luna Weekender 50 Installed 9-24-2016 Say what? Did you not already have an ARB fridge? Why yes I did, since 2007. But with the ARB fridge you could only use it as a fridge or a freezer, and not both at the same time. The ARB worked great for camping in fridge mode, and then when we...

    Solar Power FAQ

Cool, thanks. It would be just as easy to run it out the same hole that the wire comes in for the Blue Sea box as the battery is right behind the firewall.
