Love this series!!!!

I will admit I only watched one lastnight....watching the second one now...then onto the 3rd..

Couple questions...and a comment...

what Mosquito repellant are you using? After a MISERABLE weekend at Assatague Island Md and being eaten alive using 40% Deet we purchased both MAXI-Deet and Jungle Juice (juice in lotion form)

Did you have any latch failures with the AT habitat?

Why no snorkles?

Comment...

I have a similar designed Habitat and I typically will close the upper window (rear hatch on the Tacoma AT..) to keep cooking odors out of the sleeping area...also I will keep it shut when my campsite lights are on to keep mosquitos out of the bedroom..

Cant wait to see what else your band of explorers does!!

Kurt are you in the crew this time around? You seem to counterbalance the goofiness a little bit, I fear they may get a bit carried away without you.... :sombrero:

EDIT: I guess I could actually watch the episodes and find out, duh. That will have to be later though.

I'm wondering also why no snorkels?

And yes what repellant worked best?

My wife walked through before she went to bed and said wow those bugs look like Portsmouth Island on the OBX!

Holy mosquitoes!

Awesome videos, thanks for much for sharing.

FWIW, I am way more likely to consider buying General tires knowing that they sponsored the XO guys and did not make them plaster ads all over the place!

I can barely sit through a 90 minute feature film in the theaters - but there I sat, in the recliner, streaming all 2 hours and 10 minutes of this through AppleTV last night without moving a muscle. What a show.

I had the opportunity to meet Scott and Clay and their wives last year at the SEMA show. What a humble and well intentioned group they've put together. One of my top 2 favorite YouTube adventure groups - right up there with Ronny Dahl and 4 Wheeling in Western Australia.

I watched the first, and about half the second at work this morning before work.
I may wait and watch the rest on my 40" LCD TV when I am home, or catch the rest at work again Friday morning.
I have to say these episodes have outdone themselves, very good.

As for skeeters, I have tired all kinds of stuff in the past including REI's Jungle Juice which is around 100% DEET, and they never worked.
This year I tried this stuff, and I did not get bit once.

Feel ya there, great group of folks. I too sat and watched all three in a row!

And I appreciate Ronny Dahl as well. Just makes me so jealous we can't have super Toyota Diesel V8s and 70 Series rigs in the US.

The new season is live!

Can I ask what HEMA Map "Layer" worked best while in Canada... There are several within the HEMA App.
For that matter do you have a "Go-To" layer for the US that seems to be best for you guys when out and exploring.

Thanks and keep up the good work.

Kurt, what's your take on ignition ON and let it idle while out of the vehicle, or do you shut it off any chance you can to conserve fuel?
