I don't see why you couldn't get 17mpg+ unloaded. Try dropping it into 5th gear. I've found that when I do that, unloaded, I get 22mpg on my way to Florida from Atlanta going 70mph with 2000rpms.

A couple of things:
Why run 2 compressors? A dual ARB should be plenty to run the lockers and tools, especially with a spare tank.
Has your computer been recalibrated for the speedometer running 40s? That would mess up your MPG calcs unless your hand calculating them.

So it looks like DPP will possibly be offering some "upgrades" to the AEV lift here shortly. No word on what that is, but rumors say it's for ride improvement (read springs and shocks).

The dangle is mostly due to the sway bar and a little because of the radius Arms. A quick order from Carli will fix that.
The Carli sway bar is probably the single most effective mod one can do to these trucks. It allows the axle to move the way it's supposed to move.

Could you post a photo of the coil and coil seat once you set her down on the new tires?
The only other thing I worry about with switching to Thuren .5” coil, is once you add a bumper and winch, depending on weight, you may drop the front lower than it would with factory coils.

It appears that Thuren's .5" coil may be ok. I wouldn't go over that though. May have to add limit straps, and Carli Radius Arms too just to be safe and ensure everything moves appropriately.

According to him the way his coils terminate will cause his springs to bow excessively in the AEV coil seat.

I asked Don if he would make custom coils. He said no. But I bet if enough of us email him about making a 1" lift coil that replaces the stock coil in an AEV kit he would reconsider.

I'm going to run Thuren 1.75" springs with my AEV lift. There is no reason it shouldn't work. Thuren springs are designed to replace the factory springs which the AEV kit is designed for. Plus diesel power products has already done this with synergy 2" springs.
