Mileage isn't great towing the trailer, I take it slow and don't worry too much about it. I actually just re-geared to 3.73 to help with towing. When I'm towing the travel trailer I'm in camping mode and try not to worry too much about mileage, it is what it is.

I've been running 40psi on the street, and while it feels like it rolls easier it is a bit of a harsh ride. I may also experiment with lowering my on road psi just to see how it effects mileage.

With the cross bars removed from the stock roof rack their is ample space left between a rooftop tent and the Xterra roof for storage. I keep a roll up aluminum table and my ladder stored in that space.
