Well, first few seconds anyway
NEMO Fillow is quite good. Fills instantly, packs small, smartly designed, cans stuff in clothes to raise height as desired. We have several and they've held up for a few years now.
The forks move forward and backwards pretty easily. Just move them with your fingers or use a large flat screwdriver. I posted some photos in a thread a awhile ago
I've a similar discovery on my gen 2.5, actually mine looks worse. Theory is a bad EGR valve. Solution recommended by IncorporatedX was a cleaner called PurplePower.
Wow Pat. I had no idea! I just read your terrific account of the storm on your blog post. Bummed to hear about the studio, but gladdened at the way you've embedded yourselves into the local community. I know you get wonderlust like the rest of us, but it truly seems like you've found a...
I didn't see a replacement EGR valve on your list. They are $7. Get one.

Nope. There's a genuine amount of pleasure derived from driving something as solid as a Gen 2 for the dirt cheap prices they are going for. It feels like you are getting away with something, it's an illicit pleasure. Sort of an embodiment of the old saying "Drive it like you stole it!" Or...
Ignore Basil, he's like a super pro, with amazing photos and deft touch with the software. His skill level makes everything look easy, it's deceptive! The good thing about Lightroom is that there are a gazillion tutorials on it. Hmmm.... wonder why? Could it be because it's a complex...
There are lots of online lens rental companies. I highly suggest trying out a few. I personally used a Canon 100-400 for shooting gliders with good success, but those are a lot bigger than birds :-)
