    The Domino Effect............................

Nice looking trailer Mark. What a turn around for an old trailer, plus if it helps get you out more often it's worth it.

M416 trailer build my brother and I

I picked up my tent this week, it's not mounted yet because we are going to rework the basket on the top. That means that it is going to take another trip to GA to my brother's house (home shop) to get reworked. Anyway I could not leave the tent in the box without testing it out, so here are a...

Supervising the progress and an important addition to the trailer. It would be a bad thing to be caught in the woods without a bottle opener, although I'm sure I could figure something out.

    My CND M101 Thread

My lid is made of steel and weighed 175 pounds, plus we added the roof rack on top of that. But with the right shocks it's no big deal.

M416 trailer build my brother and I

We did used the entire 48" receiver and it was welded to the first cross member on the frame. It tows perfect, I've had it up to 70 mph around here and my brother had it up to 80 mph bringing it back here with no issues. The trailr tracks great, no bouncing and you can barely see it in either...

M416 trailer build my brother and I

Well as Mark said in an earlier post it's never finished. After playing around with the trailer the ideas are rolling around in my head now and my brother's head. I said that I was not going to put a RTT on the trailer but I have changed my mind on that I should have it in a few days. So my...

No we removed the handbrake and replaced the axle with a 3500 pound axle. I have chalk blocks for it now or I can just use a log or rock if I'm in a bind and I need it.

M416 trailer build my brother and I

The only thing left to do on the trailer is to paint the top (same color as the trailer), add the hardware to the top, move the tongue box forward and make the basket for the water / fuel cans that will go between the tongue box and the bed. My brother has completed most if not all of these...

    Pookie's Willys MBT thread

I did a 2 inch receiver on the back of my trailer, it's just a little cutting and welding. If you look at my thread it has pictures of it. M416 build my brother and I Good luck and have fun.

M416 trailer build my brother and I

The top weighed approx 175 lbs, so we ordered two 250 lbs gas struts. The 250 lbs struts were too much for it and we had to down size to 150 struts, they worked prefect. My brother added a support bar along the side with the hinges to give it added support. And a shot with it closed and one...
