Worlds tiniest trailer - and it worked great!

I have to kind of chuckle at your tiny trailer, only because it is not all that different from mine. Mine was donated by my dad. Who knows why he bought it. He has a fill size pickup with nothing in the bed. Long story short. he had no use for it, so he hauled it 1000 miles (in the bed of said...

So Cal LOCKER Install prices need help

I just paid $2100 for the parts alone for this setup(with Yukon gears) Assume 4wp is going with G2. So in reality that isn't a bad price at all. Our local 4wp has been running a special for just gears for $1250 or so parts included(no lockers) I am going to tackle the gear change myself...

    Poor-boy RTT - now I need a ladder

I think CVT sells the sliders.... $95 for the slider, $125 for the telescoping if you are interested.

    Diesel GC or Toureg

Wanted the Diesel badly in my Durango, Alas the powers that be at chrysler deemed that it wasn't to be. Had to have the third row, so ended up with Dodge versus Jeep. I was really tempted by the Diesel GC they had on the lot. Hemi has served me well to this point though. Pulls my 5000 lb boat...

    Rtt brands pros/cons

Must have been a cold front....lol. We get a few nights a summer where tent camping is tolerable, but IMO few and far between. Really want to head to CO or NM high country for a long weekend.

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Thanks, it's a Teraflex Nebo. Had to make some custom spacers and brackets to get the tent to fit. The spacers are half inch starboard hdpe, and the brackets I just made out of some steel flat I had laying around. painted since they are carbon steel. The way the rails work, I believe you can...

    Rtt brands pros/cons

Yeah, this part of the country this time of year is pretty much a sweatfest and I don't care what kind of tent and where you are camping, or if you have the biggest fan in the world.. i have seen a lot of folks use portable ac units, however kind of need to be in an RV spot to pay for power...

    Positive CVT experience

Just wanted to say what a great experience I had with CVT over the last few days. While unpacking the Mt Rainier Standard I purchased last Monday(and received Friday...in Tulsa..that was fast!!!) I discovered it was not the tent I ordered. Shot a note to Megan and didn't hear anything from her...

New to JK's but not to Jeeps

Yep, me too. Not too obtrusive. I just have a cheap rough country lift on mine (purchased that way) but it came with new longer front lca's. Gotta admit this thing drives really well and tracks straight. Ive abused it a little and it has held up ok. Friend of mine with the teraflex/mopar...

New to JK's but not to Jeeps

Sorry, got most of this typed up before I read you have a soft top, but might be a good option if you can pick up a hard top. New here, just a few posts, but just installed a NEBO this weekend. I would highly recommend. I hate exo cages and this one actually has more static carrying capacity...

Tepui Tents Group Buy Work Around

Good deal. Still think I need a bigger tent, but it sure was tempting at that price and I have a decent diviend too, which would have made it a great deal.

Tepui Tents Group Buy Work Around

FYI...Kukenam is now taken down at REI. Must have had a run on them. You can still get the Ayer.

Tepui Tents Group Buy Work Around

New here, but an REI member. Stumbled across the fact that REI is now carrying Tepui. I have a decent dividend coming so that makes it even cheaper. Problem is I want a bigger tent than the Kukenam. Still debating it though. Really tempting to take advantage to get a great deal. Would have...
