    Small Trailer Revival

I am on a jeep forum too. Between the two, I am broke...lol. Luckily I have an understanding wife, or so she says. I am no expert, but in the end, that Lincoln would work just fine for what you want to do.

    Small Trailer Revival

My 220 is actually an RV extension cord that I modified to fit my dryer receptacle. Kind of ghetto, but i have a window in my laundry room that I run it out of and it is long enough to reach my shop (about 50 feet away). I use 110 more than 220 though. It is nice being able to dial up the...

    SoDak's M101A2 build

Thanks, It will be slow. Short term goal is to get the electrical fixed up and get it so I can actually pull it. Then a rack for the tent. We'll see where it goes from there.... :)

Power wise with flux core, you would be ok. Might look used or save up and get something that is gas capable. You might want it eventually. It would do the trick though.

    SoDak's M101A2 build

Well, after a few weeks off working on it, I was able to scare up a little time on Sunday morning to get a bit of work done. Picked up weld on jack(not pictured) rated for 3500 lbs, with a 20% off coupon at harbor freight, for about $40. Seems to be a solid pc for the money and gets decent...

    TeraFlex Install: NEBO Roof Rack

the good thing about the hdpe spacers is that the tent slides around really easily till I get it tight. You can see in that pic, it sits right over the rib. I just moved it to get the nut started. However once it is located, you can't get the wrench over the bolt without some gymnastics. I...

    Small Trailer Revival

I agree, cool little trailer. Looks well built. Rat-Trailers....good idea!!! Just jump in on a welder if you can swing it. I am in your boat from an ability perspective. I sold a few jeep things I had laying around and picked up a Hobart 210 mvp. Some decent deals to be found online and...

Recommended lightweight, highly packable, "warm weather" sleeping bags?

We elk hunt right in that exact spot. I use a cheap cabelas 20 degree bag in late September, when we spike out. Weighs nothing, was less than $100 and packs with my tent/food/and pad and 3 days food all inside a 5200ci bag.

    TeraFlex Install: NEBO Roof Rack

I went a bit different route and mounted my RTT on the cross slats. I had to make a spacer and custom width plates to go over the cross slats so the tent didn't rub on the outer rails. pretty slick, but I need to trim the mounting bolts just a hair as it it pretty tight between the slats and...

    SoDak's M101A2 build

So, got a little bit done on Saturday. Removed the non-functional(and bulky/ugly) surge brake system and lunette. My son drilled out all the rivets and pulled all the nomenclature tags(After the trailer is cleaned up they will go back on) Started cutting out the 24 volt wiring system that was...
