CVT Mckinley or Denali are the only ones I know of. We have the mckinley and the walls don't slope that much(but I'm a foot shorter than you....). They do slope, however. If you sleep lenghtwise in the Denali it is 7.25 feet but those walls would be straight up.
Nice. Just bought an A2 in Jan/Feb. We have 1 trip so far. I am building a telescoping rack right now. Have an adequate homemade one that works.
You even have the right tent....lol.
Good luck with it.
I looked a bit. There is some room but I didn't get the tape out and measure. I am sure you could play with the track width a bit and get there, but hey, at least I bumped it for you.
You can get m105's all day long on surplus auctions for $200. The shell is cool, but not THAT cool. :) Too big. No one wants them. I'm with Switawi, stick with an m101 or m1101/2. You'll be much happier....and richer. A bunch of m101's went on auction this week, most in the 700 or 800...
Weight and easy to change lug pattern. A decent 3500 lb axle will cost less than $400, and I have heard you can shave 100 lbs or more. That said, I tow behind an JKU. I know it is there, just because of throttle response, but they are nice trailers for sure.
JKU wms to wms is right at 65.5" I am looking at a 61" axle, 2 inch wheel spacers on each side to to clear the trailer hubs get to 65". Close enough for me.
I don't have any skin in the game and have been looking for a fridge. Always thought the ARB 50 would be the one, but Talked to the snomaster guys at the Great American Outdoors show(right after I was in the OK4WD booth) and thought they looked interesting. They are a bit pricier, but come with...
Mine is a 2014. Pretty sure it is up front. I have had the tie rods/trackbar/drag link on and off several times due to some upgrades up there. Just haven't upgraded them yet...lol. I thought i read it does have sway control. I look at it as an opportunity to upgrade... :).
No factory tow, which doesn't add any stabilization I believe, but i have 4.56 gears, so that isn't the issue.
Soft suspension and a 3.5" lift, and is like a big sail...lol. have to hold the steering left or right depending, and it thinks it is turning so keeps engaging the traction...
Well, didn't get to work on it Thursday and had a 4 day weekend to use the trailer, so Friday was a bit of a scramble.
Got the safety chain brackets welded up.
Got the rack put together. I realize it doesn't work with the lines of the trailer, but it is only temporary until I get a...
Little more progress tonight. Lights converted to 12 volt and LED's. Rewired the trailer and had to repair some wiring in one of the housings. Everything worked 1st time... Got a bit lucky. Light are really tucked up there.... Might mod the brackets a bit at some point.
Got my rails done...
Yeah, no doubt. I did learn how to do it next time though. square the front....and the back of the tube.....
I picked up a couple of rattle cans of camo tan yesterday. Darker than the desert tan, but got a coat on the tongue last night....wasn't home very long and had other commitments. the...
Not bad where it sits, about 1/8". However if I went longer on the tongue extension it would get progressively worse as it is canted just a bit
Idk on color. Really eventually it will need to be blasted, so I have a while to decide. The desert camo is growing on me though. I like black but...
