Does anyone know about ARK Portable battery boxes and where to buy them

Thanks, I drained it down to around 12.3V with some stuff running as in a LED lantern, and had the inverter kicked in running a 110V fan. Unplugged them later and put the charger back on, and saw the voltage go up to 12.7V when charging, then evened off at 12.6V later, so it seems to be working...

    RTT cold weather?

Hello Sam, welcome to the forum. Probably the warmest tents will be the Maggiolina ones from Auto home. Reason being they are around 36" or so tall inside and the walls are all vertical thus having less room inside to heat up. I have the AirLander model by them and have never been chilled in mine.

    Watches - ExPo Style

My watch came, I dig it. Took it and my Luminox into a pitch black bathroom here at home and the ISObrite is indeed way more brighter. Using the stock band for now, but may take the nice clasp one off of my Luminox and swap it over. I tired earlier since they are both 22mm wide straps, but the...

    Roof Mounted Solar Shower

Yep, very happy with my Aquacube. Those who own one, make sure you put it on the charger at least once a month during non usage to keep the battery conditioned.

    Watches - ExPo Style

Found another video at YouTube which is more like the watch I just bought. Not sure what that first one was, but this looks more like it.

    Watches - ExPo Style

My trusty Luminox I have had for a few years now has been giving me fits. I have to use pliers to pull out the crown to set the time every month as it loses a few minutes, and the battery is only a year old as it was replaced. And I can no longer adjust the date on it, even with pliers, it is to...

Does anyone know about ARK Portable battery boxes and where to buy them

Thanks Brett for the info. Still in discharge cycle and 12.5V, and 99% charged. Cannot get it back to 100% and 12.6V like when I first started charging it last weekend. Will check on it 12/13 hours from now when I am home from work.

Does anyone know about ARK Portable battery boxes and where to buy them

Brett, no errors when I got home, but still at 12.5V, and has only done testing and discharge cycles. Just now I did a Google search to find the amp hour rating of my battery, and it is not 120, but 100 according to this PDF file I found on the bottom of page 5...

Does anyone know about ARK Portable battery boxes and where to buy them

Brett, saw my first error about 10 minutes ago milling around here before work. The LCD screen was blank except for "Alarm, check battery." Turned off the screen which only took one second instead of the normal 4 or 5 seconds, unplugged the charger, then turned the LCD back on again. Selected...

Good overland duty hitch racks for bicycles?

My Thule T2 has been on my rig since summer of 2009, and not a problem with it. Its been driven down bumpy forest service roads and is still like new.

    Roof Mounted Solar Shower

I would rock that if I could fit it to my rack and had I not bought the Mr Heater Aquacube a few months back.

Does anyone know about ARK Portable battery boxes and where to buy them

Hey Brett, one more question. The manual states that my AGM style battery should be pumping out around 14.1V or so, but the LED panel only shows 12.6V at full charge. I hope there is nothing wrong with my battery, but I will drag out my meter later to also test the voltage.

    Roof Mounted Solar Shower

Saw this posted over at IH8MUDs camping section in a shower thread. Pretty cool idea, you pressurize it with a bike pump, and it holds five gallons. I like the fact it is also built in the USA. http://roadshower.com/

Does anyone know about ARK Portable battery boxes and where to buy them

Thanks Brett. I will change the setting when I fire up the Ark to 120. Right now it is set to 100, but I have not plugged in the 110V yet to charge it. You guy's rock! Have fun at your event you are at this weekend too. Yes, this seems like a very nice battery.
