    SOLD: 2018 Conqueror UEV490 Platinum-

This is a REALLY good objective feedback for potential camper purchasers. In order to get more visibility, I wonder if a new thread with a catchy title would work? Just a suggestion!

    Quality 12V Kettle

No problem, glad I can help you sort this out. My coffee addiction isn't simple but I use the Jetboil to boil water for espresso. I also use the Jetboil to boil water in a Belman stove top steamer for frothing the milk. Making cappucinno takes way more effort (bean grinding, pulling shots, etc)...

    Quality 12V Kettle

A product like a JetBoil is about as easy as it gets. I know the OP is looking for an electric 12v kettle but cooking/heating with fuel is much faster and efficient than anything electric. Using an inverter to boil water is extreme but if your camper is setup for all electric, I can totally...

    FZJ80 shopping- am I crazy?

You made excellent points - given enough money, lots of things can be made possible. Diesels are simply awesome at what they do, pull a house down the hwy, after yanking it off the foundation :) . I too am having dirty thoughts about a H151 going into my turbo 80......

    FZJ80 shopping- am I crazy?

Funny thing is that my 2003 4runner has more useable inside space than the 80. Of course, they're two different animals but I thought it was interesting to see the stark contrast. The 80 cargo area is huge compared to the 4runner as one might surmise.

    Blender, My LX450/FZJ80 + FJ45esk + GM + Land Rover crazy concoction

Thank you VERY MUCH for this extensive guide to installing the Albright and the Evo winch controller. I wanted to upgrade to a wireless controller for my Warn M10k winch, but wasn't sold on the Harbor Freight wireless unit that seems to be popular. This fits the bill perfectly for me. I don't...

    FZJ80 shopping- am I crazy?

I'll chime in here with my .02 cents worth, maybe worth even less! I see lots of folks touting the attributes of the venerable 1HD-T/1HD-FT engines, however, the torque is less than a 1FZ-FE while having the same HP (all be it, at different RPMS) . The folks that tout their 20+mpg diesel...

Long Range America replacement tank for 80 series

This is exactly my point, just because I have an extra 15g (oem subtank) carrying cap, doesn't mean that I'm always going to utilize it. I have to stop at the gas station with everone else anyway, LOL!! However, one pro of having 40g of fuel is that I can fill up at my local Costco for the...

    La Sportiva mountain boots

Ok, thank you for the details, very helpful. I've reached out to Sportiva and they've suggested two winter boots for me to look at. I need to find a local supplier for their winter boots now. GLWS.

    La Sportiva mountain boots

Sorry for the dumb question but can these boots be used as regular snow boots while snowshoeing or just snow walking with spikes? Or are they strictly made for ice climbing with crampons? Lastly, what size shoes do you wear? Conversion charts says 43.5 is size 10 U.S. but everything is...

    Subframe storage

I'm building a cargo drawer system using 1/2 x 1/2 .016" thick wall and the whole thing is rather light!! The drawers are made of the same material and will be lined with the thinnest material I can get my hands on.

    Post up your drawer/storage system

Yup, that rotating shelf idea is mine and it's a super handy feature, if I do say so myself. Nice job on the METRA shelf and the hanging bin, they're uber handy. I installed a second one in the 4runner and made the mistake of removing the top bar that (closest to you) run across the unit for...

Dirt Sunrise: Tim and Kelsey get lost...

I figured as much. What was the asking price? This is one vehicle I'd have *thought* about getting a loan for!!! I introduced my GF to your YT channel and she was totally loving it. Then she saw the episode where you announced the big news and she was screaming at the TV "no, I just met...

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear this news. He leaves behind two young daughters and a wife. This is so sad for the family and friends.

Using Dometic Go Hydration Water faucet with other containers

Hopefully the pics are worth a thousand words but let me know if you have any questions. It's a little hard to see due to the lighting but the hose is coming out through the top of the jerry can using one of the existing holes. The electric water faucet sits on top of the counter and the hose...

    New 270 Awning available.

Might I ask a favor please? Could you give add a third pic on your post of the awning closed up on your 80? It's immensely helpful to see the form factor on the sides of vehicles, at least for me anyway. Thank you sir.
