We use the unit on our Bradshaw trail trip over the 3day weekend and it was FLAWLESS IN OPERATION.Very percise and even showed some things I did not expect. Great unit and I am very please with it.

I keep the Horizon fully loaded with the exception of perishables. Blankets,heater fuel,sleeping bags,canned soups snacks ect. It is also used for a backup to the earth quake kit.

Great pictures reminds me of the trip I took a year ago,nice write up also. Looked like Soda lake was dry. And the main railroad bidge had water!!! It was bone dry when I went.

Yes it does have a internal antenna, I also like having the outside antenna also for back up.

Mounted up a hocky puck type of antenna on the roof today,what else to do but drill holes in your roof!!! Ran the cables ect to the dash all nice and clean, now to paint the antenna with a non matallic paint to match the trucks color or black. Photos to come.
