theres also the issue with cost. A diesel in any vehicle is more expensive. An already pricy rubicon JK would be outrageously priced and no one would buy it!
those auber are cool little gauges. I decided to try a glowshift as it does boost, pyro and water temp(was wanting oil pressure but misorded) all in one. Will see how it works out.
when we had our coleman tent trailer I used hot water tank wraps to make panels that fit inside the zippered windows (cut out the shape to fit and used duct tape over the edges) we stored them under the matteress for when we needed them and they made a huge difference in heat loss to the...
very nice! I looked at these before I bought my hj61. I loved the rig but hated the underpowered motor. Lets hope it stays together I know a few people that had under 100,000 kms in surfs and the heads still went. Once they did the 3L head all is better. One friend now has a 4 door 1991 hilux...
you can get the brackets that bolt to the side of the shell and look like gutters on a truck so you can use gutter clamp style roof bars. Take the roof bars off with the tent and you will have no added height
That looks nice. I have a friend with the Nikon P500 and it takes stunning photos for a point and shoot (36x zoom) I have a panasonic with 24x zoom and it takes nice shots as well. Those would be my 3 top choices for long zoom with the canon maybe in the mix as well.
nice little tin top! I have done 8v and 16v swaps in the past and I would never do an 8v again. the gain in HP just wasn't worth it. If I ever get a sammy again it will be getting a 2.0L swap in it. I drove someone esles with that motor and Oh my god was it nice! or a 22re toyota swap.
you can bump one of your current threads back to the top by posting in it rather than start another new thread. I think this is the 4th seperate thread you've made!
if you angled the poles back to the bottom of your roof rack brackets (where they attach to the rover) this would give better support. maybe a light piece of aluminum between the ends of the poles to keep them spaced and tight.
WOW! this thing is cool!

solid front axle and everything! Even with a turbo it would be slow though.
