I have had amazing service from Trailtough in the past. Low range doesn't really make any products just resells others. springs are most likely trailgear. I would go with OME springs. they are worth the price or go with a swap kit ot YJ leafs.
the new spot connect is what I would get now. It gains you a bluetooth gps, and spot functions. for around $170. Apparently the GPS will work without a spot subscription and you can roam up to 30' away from the unit without losing signal.
I have an ipod touch and use gaia for Topo use and a free turn by turn for street called navfree. I have looking at the xgps251 for GPS as it can be used out of the vehicle but I found a great xmas deal on the tomtom car kit for $60 it is extremely accurate and quick to get a signal and can play...
obviously the App mode would be useful if you had a pioneer head unit. I just picked up a TomTom carkit GPS attachement for my ipod touch which works with the Iphone too and has a built in GPS for $69 pretty tough to beat that price for a GPS.
I was just about to say the same thing. Find a Motel where you can spend a night once a month or so to give yourself a break! Of course it can be done but only you can answer if you can do it.
make sure its an 8274 and not an 8250 or whatever they were called with the hand brake and no free spool.
An 8274 is an amazing winch but fitting it onto a newer truck like a Tundra may be a bit of a pain.
yes its locted in BC. I have seen it up close. I highly doubt it would sell well in the US. It was made for short Japanese people and really excels at nothing. Its a cool concept but is pretty useless except for gravel roads and there are better rigs for that.
I think you can clip the strip that joins the sides together to get seperate sides. Then you could do one side switched and one side not. I would install two 6 fuse panels though. Just finished installing my 6 panel last night.
Relay, 24-12v converter, fuse panel. Fun with wiring in a tight space!
